  1. Like everyone says.... We're all different, but I will tell you my sister (2 years out) and I (4 months out) can't eat chicken. It just won't go down. I guess it's too dry. I also had an episode in Friday with Ono fish and I was at a nice restaurant and had to go to the restroom twice to get rid of it. Last week in Yosemite I ate steak medium/ medium rare without trouble... And a lot of people say they can't eat steak. I cant do well cooked meats, no hard boiled eggs, and no meat that's not cooked fresh. I just think its how moist the meat is. Hope that helps!

    Couch To 5K App?

Wow! Cool to see so many people doing this. I downloaded it last night and plan on starting tomorrow. Though I may take the advice and walk the first week for 30 minutes before I officially begin week one, since I've done no exercising in a couple years. :/ The app suggested to me was "Get Running" and it seems cool. I've gone on the forum and read some info. I even tried it out and set up a play list to run with it. Good luck!

    Slip

Omg that's scary. I'm glad it's better now!
  4. To figure out the minimum protein to eat daily you multiply your weight in pounds by .37 and that how much you should be eating/drinking according to my nutritionist.

    Why No More Protein Shakes?!

No, mine wants me to eat at least half my protein, but wants me to do protein shakes or bullets too. Its hard to eat 80-120 g of protein in a day (depening on your weight). He says you will lose faster if you keep your proteins up because your muscles are burning calories almost like running a track.... Though you don't get the cardio bennefits. I drink and eat protein daily and I am losing more rapidly than my mom and sister... Just make sure it's high protein and low in far, sugar, and calories.

    Second Thoughts

I think we all feel that way at times. I went through a bit of depression the first few weeks. I still get frustrated at times. I think I should be losing more quickly, but it is just a lifestyle change. It's been almost 4 months for me and I'm just starting to "get it". I know there will be many highs and lows. Just keep asking for support. I luckily have a sister that did it 2 years ago and has lost 100 pounds now. I'm down 52 and wish it was higher, but she reminds me it was only 65 for her whole first year. I have 130 to still lose so it seems sooooo far away, but it will come. She's been a huge support which you need. So use this to know you aren't alone. You made the right choice and when you start feeling better and your clothes get looser you will be reminded it was the right choice. I feel for you! Just know it will get better!!! :)
