  1. Potato soup.... Thin the soups with milk or water and blend it up.
  2. My left side that feels like a runners cramp is sore and I am 8 days out. They said it was scar tissue building up.

  5. I went through it. It reminded me of my post partum depression. I do not know how to describe the feeling except everything made me sad. I felt regret in what I just did. IDK

  8. I am having a hard time emotionally with the change. I wish SOMEONE had said you will be feeling sad or depressed for a few days. But it is because......... Other posts have described these feelings also.
  9. I am an overnight stocker. They said 4 weeks bc the port is attached to the muscle. I need the time off to deal with the mental part of this surgery no one tells you about.
  10. Thete is a lot of emotional and mental crap that goes with this. No one at True Results bothered to explain this. Too busy seeing $$$$ signs. Talk to someone about the mental stuff before you consider ANY weight loss surgery.
  11. I am 7 days out. I am having a hard time emotionally too. Last night I ate a small piece of fried chicken. I was full all night. I am tired of the liquids! Tired of baby food! They did not explain this mental part before surgery!!!
  12. My dr sewed part of my stomach around the band to prevent slipping.
  13. I think you need to give yourself more time. Your port site will be sore. There was an emotional thing with me on day 3. You are making a major change. Do not rush this.
  14. Can you tell if you pulled a stitch out from them sewing your stomach around the band? I ate some mushy food and I feel full.
  15. I sm just banded. It is a physical and emotional change. My problem is I can eat alot. It will be a tool to help me change my habits. I chose the band because it was cheaper and I did not want to die during a complicated surgery.

  18. I was sore by my belly button and on the left side. I have some depression issues because of the lifestyle adjustment.

  20. Very frustrated with Dr B and true results richardson. I feel like true results got me in to get the surgery without really caring. The lady at dr b office was rude and could not wait to get me off the phone. If I had it to do over again I would have found someone else
  21. I had almost the same thing happen to me today!!!!!! My drs office could not wait to get me off the phone today. She gave me a crappy appointment and was real short with me. I was almost in tears. Was it Dr B in Richardson?

  23. i am 5 days out. i have had the protien shakes, the broth, the blended soups, and some blended overeasy eggs. i had some grits with chicken broth. that helped. i am still having a hard time with the no food thing. very frustrated!
