  1. But I just wanna share with everyone. I hate when you get close to someone on here and disappear. This person got surgery same day as me we have written to each other everyday for the past 2 months and suddenly she's gone. This worries me.
  2. Plain chicken breast. It's all I will be able to take in. Our new stomachs are small.
  3. This is normal. You get stuck for 3 weeks. Then start losing again. Start walking get ur body going.
  4. I drink while I eat. Small sips of water and eat very slow. No problems.
  5. You can still have coffee. Decaf. Enjoy!!!
  6. We all go through it!!!!! I went through it. I was sad too thought I would never eat again. I'm 2 months out. And I can eat whatever I want just very small portion. Don't worry it will get better. You will heal inside and ur will be easier to take in food. And eventually you will be able to eat food you liked. Also some foods you miss now when you try them now you don't even want them anymore. I loved soda. I tried it now and yuck. I loved mc Donald's fries I tried it now yuck. I'm eating healthy and not suffering like in the past I'm actually enjoy it. Only thing I eat once in a while that is not healthy is a slice of pizza (all I can eat and feel satisfied) its a great experience physically mentally emotionally. Soon you will be very very happy you did it!!!!!!! I'm down 26 lbs and feel awesome. You too will feel this way!!!
  7. A week and a half. And as you lose weight your sex drive goes up. Speaking from experience.
  8. Lol I know what u mean. I make one month tomorrow. And only 15 lbs first 2 weeks.
  9. Stuck on the same weight for a week and so. 15 lbs is what I've lost and nothing else. Sorta sucks. Just had to vent.
  10. I've had bread and I'm one month this coming Thursday. No problems.
  11. I know this is a process. At the end for a very good thing health and beauty.
  12. Big Kim. I'm the same as you. Try haggan daz sorbet that has helped me quench my thirst
  13. That's perfectly normal. I get those air bubbles too. Sounds like my stomach is talking to me. Eventually that goes away from what I've seen on here.
  14. Oh honey me too I never realized how much I associated food with everything. I went to the mall today and wanted to get a slice of pizza. that's what I use to do all the time shop then have a slice of pizza with a garlic bread. its hard but we can do it. Today I went to the pizza stand and got a bottle of water and kept going. Lol

  16. 12 days post op Does this happen to you I eat mashed potato and when I swallow it I feel it go down gets like stuck then continues to my stomach. I'm thinking I had a hiatel hernia removed, is this the discomfort I feel from the hernia removal?? It's so annoying.
  17. Also I totally walked by the concession stand. Sigh. You will be fine.
  18. Don't associate food with entertainment. Eat before you go n just enjoy the movie. I went to see titanic I thought I was going to have a hard time. But I did just fine. Took my Protein shake and that was that. U are stronger than the food.
  19. Women's laxative Walgreens brand. Works wonderful. It's normal to be constipated cuz of the surgery.
  20. Don't worry I'm stalled too. Sleeved 4/5/12 Saw surgeon today he said its perfectly normal. He said its better to lose steady than quickly. Gives ur body time to catch up.
