A couple of weeks ago I complained of headaches every day after I had my surgery. I thought I had gas in my head. LOL, I was so wrong. My Dr. told me I didn't need my medication any more.YEA! so I stopped my highblood pressure and my colesteral meds. For about two weeks I still had a headache but it wasn't as bad. I was still taking antidepressents, I was a little afraid to stop thoese. Then I thought, what the heck, I stopped thoese too and WaaLaa No more headaches. So if you have headaches, it's not gass in your head LOL. Its probley your meds. See Ya!

Yea!! I have lost 27 lbs. Had my first fill yesterday and it hurt more than I thought it would but it didn't last. I forgot to ask the Dr. how much he injected, but I could hardly tell the difference. He said just liquids the first day, soft mushy the second and regular food the third. That was that. Not what I had expected. Of course today and tomorrow will be the test. Any way I was thrilled to learn I had lost 8 lbs. from last visit. The way I was eating I thought I hadn't lost any. The diet I am on is really easy,(it should be after all the diets I have been on in my life) I just count Calories and Protiens. It was hard at first, because I was afraid I would throw up but that never happened. I feel more secure now. I feel pretty good, lets just hope it lasts. woohoo!

I'm off to the Dr's. to get my first fill. I am looking forward to it because I have been eating more than I should. I have also been hungry not long after I eat. I think it is my old way's trying to come back, but after today I hope it will be easier to control that. See ya later.

I am feeling a little scared about my band. I was thinking that the lump on my stomach was my band "now i get it" It is my port. But I have been worring about my band slipping. I feel no restrictions and sometimes I eat more than I should. It's hard, because 1/2 cup is just not enough. How can I tell my band has slipped?

Today is my 11th day post op. and I feel fine. I still have a huge bruse on my stomach and the steri strips are still in place. I am sick of protien drinks,(slim fast, equate, atkins and chicken broth makes me gag(yuck). I still have a lump on my stomach, I think it is the band I am feeling. I am not depressed anymore and I am not dreaming of food. I think my withdrawls are over. I don't watch food comercials especially the fast food cometcials on TV and I don't watch the Food Network any more. I am ready to go back to work. So I still feel fine. Thank God.

Well, eight days after being banded and I have had a headache every day. I am a little worried about it, its all in the back of my head and when I move it it hurts. I know I sound like a baby, but I never have headaches. As for my band, like I have said befor everyday is better than before. Wha hoo!

I had my surgery the 28th. Every day my body feels better, but I keep having doubts about being able to loose weight. I am so addicted to food and the act of eating that I worry about over eating. I am also hungry and nothing helps. I keep asking myself if I made the right choice. Does anyone else feel that way and what can I do?

Well it is raining here, but thats ok. I am going to cook today for the first time sense being banded. I am going to eat some beans and cornbread. Of course the beans will be blendes into liquid, and i will soak the cornbread in the liquid to mush it up, but it will be a treat. Ya'll have a happy Easter.
