  1. Can you let us know who it is? Don't want it to be me lol!
  2. At first just my family knew and a couple of co-workers. But I think my kids ratted me out at their school, which is run by our church lol. So now if people ask I am open about it. I won't ever lie about it. Not sure how I'd feel about posting it on Facebook etc, but it a one on one situation I'm happy to discuss it.
  3. I don't eat in the mornings at all. Just drink.
  4. I've had two fills and am restricted and losing but I think the hot weather has also played a big part in that.
  5. It's the best decision I have ever made solely for myself!
  6. I was good about a week post op. just felt a little yucky and nauseous a few days but I had a reaction to anesthesia.
  7. I agree 100%. It may have as much to do with dehydration as the actual air temperature, but my band is definitely much tighter than it was before it got so hot.
  8. My body does this. I go two weeks without losing anything, then lost 5 pounds over the weekend. You will start losing again!!!! I'm right at the same loss as you as well, just hit the 50# mark.
  9. My mouth starts watering obscene amounts when I've been stuck. I'm relatively sure each time has been because of eating too fast. That and now bread is a "no go" for me.
  10. Gotcha that makes sense. Thanks!
  11. We took the kids and played tennis last night--it was really hot and muggy. Worked a good sweat, came home and felt hungry for a snack. Had about 4 or 5 bites of a fruit, marshmallow, cool whip dessert and it came right back up. I figured I must just have been swollen from exercise and heat. Does anyone else have this issue right after exercise?
  12. No problem with them although I think it may be a morning issue for people. I am cooking them softer when I eat them. I usually don't eat until lunch though regardless. Just not hungry in the morning.
  13. I also struggle with head hunger. I've been struggling wih ice cream. Happy to say I passed it without stopping today! Yay! A small victory. But some things just sound sooo good. It's hard but we can do this. good luck!
  14. Literally no one has questioned me about how much I've eaten or what I've eaten. People have noticed my weight loss and then I've been honest. I can't lie. Why would I?
  15. Agree with previous posters. My episodes I've known immediately. It's been very dense crackers, salad one day--etc. always when I've eaten too quickly and always that feeling in my chest. I've stood up, bent over at the waist at a trash can and easily brought it back up each time. Am only at 4.5 in a 10cc band and it's happened about 4 or 5 times. Oh yes--fried fish was the latest offender. But like I said--I'm positive if I slowed down and chewed better this wouldn't have occurred.
  16. Agreed. I would have done this years ago if I had known it would work like this.
  17. I'm glad you still eat it B-52! I don't plan on cutting it out completely but I do need to slow down on it.
  18. Ice cream is killing me! I'm still losing weight but it must be by the grace of God. What is your weakness? And how do you avoid it? I don't keep ice cream at home but theres this stand on the 40 minute drive home that calls my name.....
  19. So glad you were able to do this!
  20. That's great! After reading your post I figured my BMI. I'm now just obese. (versus morbidly obese). That made me happy.
  21. This is great! I was in Haiti the first of June and had the same experience! It's great to actually fit in the seat belt!
