I have read some of you have gad night coughs. What are they like ( productive or not productive) and what causes them?

I dont think i had coughs as much as i would wake up choking..this happens when i am too tight..definite sign i need an unfill.

This is happening to me. Fluid comes up from my stomach and i wakes me up choking as i inhale it, then cough and cough. I am sleeping propped up to try and minimise it and i am not eating anything after 7pm then i am unable to eat or drink anything till lunch time the next day. I am hanging out for my next appointment in 2 weeks to have an unfill. I did go see the doctor but he said to try and hang in there - as long as i can get 1L of fluid in a day. I am loosing weight but i also think i am a bit dehydrated.

This is acid reflux and a sign that your band it too tight. It should not be ignored.

I am not coughing anything up. They are dry coughs but almost constantly. Could it still be acid reflux from the band being too tight?

Yes! I was doing the same. 1/2 cc removed and all is well.

I have it anytime I eat chocolate before I go to bed.
