I had a fill during surgery. A pretty good one! They told me I had 3.6 CC's already. I asked if that was normal and she said my doctor usually does this. I had surgery 3/8 and haven't had a fill since surgery and have lost 60 pounds! Pretty happy with it and i ended up adjusting to an already restricted band so it helped me learn fast how to slow down. Hope this helps

Which salon do you work at! My mom works in the quadrangle in uptown! Everything has been great! Just tooting along waiting until I can eat real food again! I work at Sally Beauty Supply!! I'm the asst. manager at the one in Rockwall.

I went through there! I was very happy with the staff. The patient advocate, Amanda, was amazing!! She let me see her stomach and answered all my questions! Did you know everyone that works there has had the surgery? I loved that part of it!! When was your surgery? Mine was march 8th.

I had it at the surgery center of richardson. Dr. Benevides or however you spell it. Nice guy. Didn't even meet him until after the surgery.. that was different, but whatever lol I live in the south dallas area, around 30 and lamar. know where that is?

Wow! I feel like I have been missing out on that.. I will deff. be buying some of those! Elizabeth, that sounds hard! How is it going for you? I know there is only so much that is actually "low cal".

I would NOT of wanted to go back to work the next day! Wow! I'm shocked your doctor told you that. lol I don't think I would of made it.. I went back to work a week later and was still very week. You know, momab50, one big thing that helped me was I took a maxi-dress to leave the hospital in and it was so perfect! It would of hurt so much to lean over and try to put on some pants since I had just had the surgery. I was really happy with just slipping that over my head. I stayed in it for the next couple days while I was at home too.. I would just put on a nightgown while I was washing it lol. I'm not going to lie to you, the first 3-4 days after are gonna be the worst. I was on liquid hydrocodone and it just made me go to sleep. Make sure you get up and walk every hour, it helps with the gas pain they said. Though I luckily didn't have any! I'm so excited to go through this with y'all and hear your stories!! Thank you Scorpio! I will tell y'all anything you want to hear!!

Girl that's not cheating!! I loved those atkins bars!! They have delicious chocolate alternatives!! The have a fake snickers, almond joy type, reese's cups. Those kept me sane!! lol Yes.. I ate a lot of eggs. what kind of protein shakes are you drinking? I like the EAS ones. They are decent.

What is y'alls pre-op diets? Mine was just high protein/low carb. I could still eat how much I wanted. Just couldnt eat what I REALLY wanted.. I'm a carbivore!! It was tough.. especially when I would go out to eat and realize I couldn't eat 75% of the menu! ahh. But it paid off and I wouldn't change a thing! I wish you all the best!!

Hey Y'all! I'm Sarah. I had my surgery March 8th! So I am almost 2 weeks post- op and doing awesome! I'm 6'1'' and live in the Dallas, TX area! I enjoyed reading everyone's stories and seems everyone is super excited about their surgery! I hope you all are successful! I was scared and almost canceled the surgery the night before.. but my mother steered me in the right direction. Once I was in the car, on my way home, I looked at her and said "I can't believe I just did that! My whole life is about to change!" She is so proud of me. This surgery has made me look at food totally different already. I have noticed that a lot of y'all have your surgery scheduled for soon, and if you have any questions, I would love to help where I can! I really like this site.. and it's the most positive one I have seen yet! Good luck to you all and I hope to hear about how well all yalls surgeries go!!
