  1. Great lesson! Just our if curiosity- why was beef jerky a bad choice? I eat it at least a couple times a week.
  2. Agree 100%! I'm 6 weeks out tomorrow- down 40+lbs- and I'm the same way.
  3. I wondered about it- pre sleeve I used to have a spoonful here nd there- So it is safe for us still!?! That just made my day of so!
  4. I do eat them with a little slice of meat and a tiny bit of cheese I'm almost 6 weeks out.
  5. I slice lime and put it in my lime gatoraid- with a ton of crushes ice- and I squeeze a little into the drink- its amazing!
  6. Subway- only the meat and veggies from a kids size sandwich- Vietnamese - their soup called Pho- pronounced fuh- with no noodles- so good. No greasy places for me- just healthy stuff to keep me on track so far
  7. I don't touch it either- and not that much sugar either- sounds good for my family maybe! I love curry- er- loved!
  8. I can tell you from experience~ if you really "enjOyed" it, you will be sore. You waited way longer than I did, and I did "enjOy" it, and my tummy felt like hell the next day! Heating pad, that's what helped me out~ <3
  9. Plain Greek yogurt is the best! So good for you too! SO much protein you can use it in place of mayo too!
  10. I don't care what anyone says- having your bg out- and the sleeve done is much harder than just having the sleeve- I too had both done same day- and in 5 weeks and a couple days- and I'm just now starting to worry about requirements calories and such. Hang in there - it does get better
  11. Just a spin on it- I was completely opposite~ I drink everything with crushed ice packed in! I could not stand room temp anything - plus the ice dilutes my drink- and I get more water that way too <3
  12. Doing awesome! 250 day of surgery- 215 today - no issues to speak of- right on track! How is your sleeve treating you?
  13. I'm personally more worried about my stretch marks- the scars fade nicely and are hardly noticeable- its the stretch marks that will never go away
  14. I don't want to ever revisit those habits- not ever.
  15. That's great info!
  16. I won't touch junk food at all- that includes soda and fast food- starchy foods- pasta- rice- I am on a track for a better life- and JUNK has no part in it :-)! I dont ever want to discover my "sliders" or anything that doesn't belong in my lifestyle.
  17. Just some ricotta cheese- some home made (no sugar) marinara sauce- grated parm of some kind- and I think this one had thin slices of ham on it- baked in a hot oven
  18. My theory (just for myself) is that people wonder what is different or they see but they don't want to say anything to not be rude. I've had a LOT of " wow you look good today" or "something's different, hair, make up, etc! I dont say too much because I do not involve my clients and friends in my medical life- but it's funny trying to see them figure out what it is
  19. Once it's out- you feel SO much better! At least all if us did in our group if about 8 of us!
  20. Eggs and cottage cheese - both main staples in my nutrition- both DELISH!
  21. I like making single serve ones also- so good- I usually only eat 5 bites at the most but it's beautiful and tasty!
