  1. Never touched it- never will.
  2. I miss taking big gulps of water when I'm thirsty- seriously- I could never see food again and be super happy - it's a real pain in my A$$ now honestly. I can't believe I let it control my life for 36 years! Never again
  3. I love all of these ideas!!!! Frankly just seeing that scale go down every morning is the biggest reward I could ever ask for!

  5. I'm 7 weeks out and the only time I think about it is when I know I have to get some and eat it. It no longer rules my mind- I am set free from that now and I LOVE IT- I was ready- and I think that's a huge part of the surgery- just being ready to give some things up- for me that included my obsession with food. Everyone's different tho.
  6. The five or so people in my life that mean a lot to me know- they are the only ones that need to know- its personal to me- I want to be ME- not a surgery Everyone's life is different
  7. Yes- I had/have the same thing when I eat too big of bites too quickly- go SLOW and take TINY bites it will help
  8. Watermelon- even if I just sucked/chewed the juice out early on- it worked every time
  9. Once I started to really exersize this problem went away for me- my husband and I were just discussing this this morning as we were doing our miles.

I ration out little one oz cups with lids and set then aside- one per day (I need those calories and fat right now) I snack on the little cup all day- that way I know exactly how much I've eaten- otherwise I could over endulge. I eat a mixture if roasted peanuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, and a few almonds. I've been eating them since about 5-6 weeks out.
  11. Misty be careful of Visalus- not nearly half as much protien or less than what we are suppose to be getting per oz- unjury- compare the two
  12. I'm scared if all the nitrates in those foods- not for me.
  13. I LOVE mine feel like I can't live without it!
  14. Thanks ladies- I'm having this issue off and on also - I drink G2 off and on the same- I should probably drink one a day- I never get enough liquids in- or protien for that matter
  15. Pho is just the best meal ever created- I can eat noodle free chicken pho for days! I lived on it for many days a weeks post op!
  16. Not ONE so far! I should have had it sooner!
  17. I was still on liquid/mushy phase then- you must be progressing well. I personally wouldn't touch those kind of carbs- but everyone's so much different
