  1. Yay!! I know you are excited beneath all of that worry! I am as well..
  2. I think its more of a comfort thing - with the limitation of certain positions. I cannot imagine fully "going at it" immediately, but I can see certain positions being acceptable.. I saw some post-op instructions that said 2 weeks. "I wonder if that is considered a clear liquid or a full liquid" LOLOLOL HA HA HA Just messing.. (SERIOUSLY)
  3. OMG.. Run girl! LOL.. Just messing! 12 inch Coke can? My ex was like that and at 324lbs, it was VERY uncomfortable and I never enjoyed him. On top of that, latex irritates me and I guess because he was so big, it was even worse!! Good luck with that. Try some lubes if you haven't already.
  4. This site has the most SENSITIVE people I have ever seen in my life! Or maybe its insecurity? I am not sure but OMG... Y'all talk about being offended about everything that you have internal issues with - making other people feel like they have to walk on eggshells. We are (or were) FAT.. Despite this one dreadful thing we all have in common, we do not see things the same. Think about that before jumping down someone's throat. I am fat, and I LOVE sex!! My sex life is wonderful.. The lady who wrote that envies ME and others like me who dont care about my fat jiggling everywhere... She was not insensitive. She is clearly saying that she was a bit insecure about her fat when she was bigger and didn't enjoy sex.. Don't like what she wrote? KIM (keep it moving.. its not that serious) And thanks for envying me babes.. I hope you get that new found " hot sexy mama" confidence as you reach your weight loss goals.
  5. Merry Christmas!! Good luck with everything - I am sure you will be fine!
  6. Wow, we never discussed things but we have quite a bit in common. I have a son that is 16 ( I had him at 15) and a daughter that is 3. Because of complications during child birth, I was told that I shouldn't have anymore kids but I want a shot at doing it the right way. I want to be excited and have a husband that is excited and enjoy the pregnancy. I know the time is dragging and at this point, I think I know what I need to know. By the time you have your surgery, half of these people will not be on here but I will. hugs!
  7. If I am asked, I will tell. No biggie. I always feel that the people that talk about others will do so regardless of what you say If you are fat, they will talk about you. If you are losing weight, they will talk about you. If you sneeze, they will talk about you. Who cares? They can be their miserable selves while they watch me shrink!
  8. Or if you live near a Wells Fargo bank, you can make a deposit to their account.. I bought a money order and did that.
  9. I went to the benefits administrator and said to add bariatric surgery back onto our insurance, it would increase everyone's rates - which employees are already pissed about the increase we just had. So, Mexico it is..
  10. She hasn't been online since September 4th. I hope things are ok.
  11. I will there on the 16th as well as two other people.
  12. Wow that's great!!! Congrats! That means you have a little more than a month to go! WOOOOOT!
  13. Its not about what you or anyone else likes, it's the reality of things and a real concern regardless of what surgeon's name is on it. If this post was deleted, I would lose respect for this site. Yes, we all need support and positive stories, but we also need to know the bads as well.
  14. It is finally winter her in Atlanta- but I think the weather here is bipolar.. It was just 70 degrees on Sunday but by Tuesday it was 30? If it keeps going on like this, I will be sick! I didn't research those surgeons - and there wasn't any reason why I didn't. There were so many names when I started!! On another note, I am looking at my desk. I wish I could take a picture. SF Jello, an orange, a grapefruit, and a bottle of CHERRY COKE. I need to get it together. Water for today ='s ZERO.
  15. My top three choices was Dr. Garcia, Dr. Alvarez, and Dr. Rodriguez. I chose Dr. Garcia and feel safe in my decision. I just need February to come quick. I think it will considering that it feels like Halloween was yesterday and that Christmas is tomorrow. 65 more days to go.. SMH, RME..
  16. How will they know that you had surgery in Mexico if you don't tell them? The lap band may be an issue and this surgery if they find out.
  17. Maybe she is using her phone. I despise using my phone to type messages. As long as she is ok, I am happy.
  18. If you feel bad about lying to your boss and you don't really want to say you lied, tell him you are having a partial gastrectomy. The procedure we had/are having is the same and it cures everything but your gallbladder. You can also add that you are contemplating addressing that issue at the same time. Explain to him that it is not voluntary and just remind him that you need your privacy as you deal with the procedure. That is what I would do. I wouldn't want to open up and tell my boss that I lied. Either way, I am sure he knows that he shouldn't have asked you that but he was generally concerned (or just plain old nosey..lol).

Cool, I am going to keep an eye out for it. I plan on starting to replace 1 meal by the end of the week and then replacing 2 meals in January. It is amazing how this surgery helped boost my motivation to lose weight before going under the knife. I think its because we know that there is a great chance that we weill not regain this time around.

I didn't know they had a muscle milk lite! I may have to try that because the original was too sweet for me. I do like the Atkins shakes - I am planning on starting with those since I know they are ok. I admire your motivation! Keep up the great work. You will be at 230 in no time..
  21. Where art thou COOLMAMA73? Are you ok?
  22. I moved my surgery to February 16th but I will not be leaving Mexico until February 21st or 22nd.
  23. If the changes are through the same insurance company, they should honor it.. Hopefully, that is the case. In my case, my company switched carriers.. Either way like someone else said - it is not over. You have time to fight this!
