As many people have already said that was awesome to see <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> you look like a totally different person <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> just amazing.I am the same way about being totally comfortable in my own skin' date=' maybe I'll be this bold when I lose my weight too.... Maybe.[/quote']
Thank you so much...you know after all the struggles we go as being heavy and out of shape most of our lives, we all should be bold and proud of our new bodies. If skinny people show off there bodies daily we should be proud to show off ours when we start reaching our goals !!!

I was sleeved and had a swallow on Monday and have a slight stretch on the top of my sleeve. Sleeved on May 11 2012Sort didn't see you posted your sleeve date. How did you find out about the stretch ? And what can be done about it ?

if you eat carbs before you work out' date=' then that is what you body is burning off--the carbs you just ate. If you don't then it is burning fat. Why eat something to just work on burning it off? I don't often eat before I work out, but when I do, it's Protein, like a string cheese and I will have some caffeine to give me an extra boost. It works for me and I put in about 70 min of cardio a day. After the workout I try to follow up with Protein (like protein shake or solid protein).
Just my experience--I am not a doctor! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />[/quote']
Your 100% correct...I always have protein before and after my workout. Always a preworkout supplement instead of the coffee

Okay' date=' so I've always heard that the elliptical is supposed to be better than a treadmill for being lower impact. So why is it that I can run (okay... jog...) just fine on the treadmill but literally feel like I'm going to die after two minutes on the elliptical? I tore up my knee when I was younger so I figured it would be better, but after not even a lap I feel like I ran a marathon! I know that probably means I'm getting a better workout, but I'd rather not be the still-fat girl huffing and puffing after only two minutes on the dang thing! Lol. Some people on here swear by the elliptical and can go for 30-45 minutes without stopping, or even 15-20 minutes for some people around my weight. Am I just doing it wrong? Should I suck it up and just power through it even though if feels like I'm going to have a heart attack? Should I just stick to my trusty treadmill and bike?[/quote']It takes time to work up to 30-45 min. My first time on it I got sick after 4 min

From what I understand it will take a great number of times to over eat to stretch out our new stomachs....I have been scared of doing the samething. As a man I have been able to eat a little more then I thought I would be able too but I haven't gained any weight
-
So what exercises are you doing? How long has it been since surgery?
I do the elliptical for 40min (it takes a while to get up to that) 25min on the treadmill (walking and now jogging) and I do strength traing (light weights high reps.
