  1. The Amplified Wheybolic Extreme has really been a surprise this week! It has improved my stamina and endurance when running. It has a strange smell' date=' but tastes great with Water or soy milk. I have been taking it 3x a day: once when I rise, once after a work out and once when I go to sleep. The scale is also moving; another 5 lbs this week (190 lb. as of this morning) and my chest / biceps are starting to get some good definition from just one week on it ( chest, arm and back focus this week with dumbells).[/quote']

I put a table spoon of Peanut Butter and a half a banana in it and boy oh boy is it delish

  2. It sounds like your doing great..good job!.I started gym yesterday..and was lost..did strength today all legs...weights..then 30 minutes of cardio ..any suggestions guys?

If your new to going to the gym...I'm pretty sure you gym has trainers there. I really suggest taken a few sessions with one. And let them know that you want to add weight training along with your cardio workout. I know it can be intimidating at first, there's a lot to learn about which body groups to work together and what machines work those groups...if you just started the gym your gym provides a 1 hour free session with a trainer.

    Good luck

  3. Holy moly! What an inspiration for all us guys. You say that your diet is clean and you drink a lot of Water. What percentage of Protein intake versus lifting would you say contributes to your results?

To be totally honest I don't keep track anymore...I know my Protein intake is a hell of a lot higher then my carbs and fat intake. I know lifting, cardio and Water is the reasons my skin rebounded the way it did. But everyone is different....it takes an obsession to get the results I did. I started off doing 2 a days at the gym 6 to 7 days a week. I'm now on a regular routine Mon. Wed. Fri. I do weights. Tues. thurs. sat. I do cardio and I take sun. Off.

Remember cardio burns calories weight lifting and building muscle speeds up your metabolism

DO NOT NEGLECT WEIGHTS...even if your a woman...women you can't lift enough weights to start looking like a muscled freak...I promise !

  4. Healthy doesn't mean bad tasting. Learning how to properly season food makes even things that are good for you taste delicious. Take salmon' date=' which is good for you. A little butter, some dill weed, salt and pepper and baked or steamed is very tasty. Try not to let your food dry out when cooking. So many people overcook food and nothing is worse than trying to choke down some overcooked, dry, rubbery food <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Also, the less bad food you eat, the better good food tastes. We're hard wired, as humans, to crave food that's heavy in salt, fat, and sugar - things that humans used to not eat a lot of because they were hard to come by. Food is addicting, but it's not like we can stop eating. That's why it all comes down to choice.[/quote']

There's soooo many seasonings beside salt and pepper...try some fresh herbs.

  5. Thanks for replying King

How much are you able to eat in a meal with your sleeve. How much Protein do you consume per day?Do you watch your carbs?. A gallon of Water a day' date=' wow! Hopefully I am not asking to much but your the first person I have seen that has made it to where I want to be:) God bless your journey! Any tips are appreciated[/quote']

Protein there's 60mg of protein in one serving of that protein I use I have 1-2 a day

    I'll have 2-3 Greek yogurts

I pretty much eat when I'm hungry carbs I try and stay away from outside of what I consume from my yogurts.

I've started to notice the more muscle I'm building the hungrier I get...since dec. 30th I've lost 10lbs.

  6. King

that is a pretty inspiring picture and exactly the kind of transformation I aspire to obtain! What Protein powder do you use? Do you mind sharing how you progressed in your workouts' date=' hydration during and after workouts and how you keep up with your nutrition:) Thank You[/quote']

Protein Powder I use GNC Pro Performance® AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ - chocolate

I drink a lot of Water a lot I try at least half to a full gallon of Water a day

Nutrition I take a Multivitamin from GNC but I'm pretty much eating clean...

Lol thank you...ill post a warning next time

  8. I'm almost a year post op I've lost 114lbs

But lately (the last few months) I've been removing whatever I ate...it's becoming more and more frequent. I'm afraid to go back to what I looked like. I don't know if I'm dealing with bulimia

    I'm a 33 year old man....feeling like a 16 year old teenage girl.

  9. I guess I'm one of them few where it's affected my marriage...I have always had a big head my wiifm says it got bigger. She thinks I have a girlfriend which I don't. But she keeps pushing and asking I may as well get one (I'm just kidding). I have become a little less tolerant of our fights and how I am treated I want and expect more now. There is a lot of outside the relationship distractions i have been getting a lot of attention from other ladies nothing I have or will act on but it's there and the wife has picked up on it and she doesn't like it which she has all rights not to. But I can see a really big change in the both of us she loves me healthier but for the sake of us I think she. Would like me still heavy.

  10. Thank you...you all have very great advice and we have a long road ahead of us. I don't want to loose my wife and along with that I don't want to be treated like I did something wrong now because I on the outside look different then when we first started pu life together. I think that's also what she does t understNd is that I'm the same guy on the inside And her insecurities is hurting that man

  11. I say stick it out' date=' get out of living with the in-laws as soon as possible, and seek some professional help from counselors. No offense to the ladies but pregnancy tends to make them..... well for lack of a better word crazy. I love my wife. We have been married for 10 years and have 2 kids. There have been some ups and some downs as with any relationship but, sticking it out is important. Don't ever let anyone put you down for seeking help. We are doing it for our weight managment issues through surgery so why is getting help from a counselor any different? There are plenty of free and low cost counseling services. Remember parenting is hard. And even as fathers the parenting starts when your wife gets pregnant. For my wife it changed her during and for a year after each pregnancy. For one thing sleep becomes much harder and that can be problemlematic. Also, remember your wife is probably gaining wait, a good thing when your pregnant, but that can make them feel insecure especially if it is at a time that their spouse is losing weight and getting a lot of attention. But, think of this, if she married you at 300 she is probably going to stick with you no matter what because she loves you. I give my wife props becuase she married me as the ex football pro who weighed around 225 lbs of pure muscle. Now I have degenerated into a 370lb lazy couch potato. But, she has been through my side. Perhaps it is becuase I am getting older, I am 35, but I want someone who is going to be by my side in the good and in the tough. Just my two cents. Either way good luck and best wishes.[/quote']

I wish we could change the living arrangemt but right now it's not doable...I was laid off april 2nd and she was laid off in feb. I I back to work July 10th. She had been back to work for 2 months now and her doctor just put her out on disability. So money is tight. We had both agreed on not having a child till we owned our own home...but someone didn't take her pill for over a week. Not pointing any fingers we both did it and have to take responsibility for it. But it's getting taxing on us...this pregnancy is tearing us apart.

  12. There's so many emotions going crazy inside her right now' date=' there's no way for you to really know unless you guys communicate with each other, and you cant always effectively communicate without someone to help.[/quote']

You right about that...let's see how she feels about talking to someone...hope it helps

  13. Well' date=' you two are basically still newly weds. I don't think you should look to divorce just yet. Have you tried talking to her about all the issues? Perhaps you should start there first. If need be, go to a therapist so there will be a non-biased party present. Communicate first. I do believe the both of you moving into your own space will help also. Try those two steps first![/quote']

I try and talk to her but she feels as though in attacking her...she doesn't communicate well she's very condescending she fights with her father all te time and now shes speaking to me how she does to him.

  14. If you care about your wife and unborn child you might want to think about getting some personal/family counseling RIGHT NOW. Since you mentioned that you were getting "attention" that you've never had before' date=' you may be giving her vibes that you want to flirt or more outside your marriage. That and the fact that shes 2 months pregnant with YOUR child, will make her very emotional and change her personality for a while. That happens when your hormones are out of whack because you're having a baby. I don't want to sound like I'm beating up on you, but you have more important things to worry about right now than whos making eyes at you at the gym.[/quote']

It's not just attention outside of us...she has been pulling away...she doesn't like the new smaller me she married me at almost 300lbs now I'm 193lbs and I don't think she likes it

  15. I don't know one or both...

I love her to pieces but there's been a huge change in both of us...I try so hard to ignore the changes but it's damn hard. She became insecure, needy and motherly. And I've become someone I never was I'm getting a lot more attention then I ever had and I don't know what to do with it

  16. What do you do when things have changed ?
