  1. I did go to the doctor yesterday for my 6 week follow up. I had my labs drawn, so we will see what they show. She said my weight loss totals were great and I should loose around 2 pounds a week from here on.
  2. My specifics- 800 calories 60 g carbs- which is up at the recommendation by NUT.. 65-70 g of Protein Water- at least 64 oz. I love ICE COLD water!
  3. Total rant- I am 6 weeks out and pretty much stopped loosing weight 2 weeks ago & could sleep all day. I get targeted Protein, take Multivitamins, do the disgusting B12 drops, and drink my Water. I upped my carbs & calories like my NUT said, it hasn't helped. On top of that, I feel bloated, am irritated that my boobs seem to be the only part shrinking right now. Oh, and apparently.... I may or may not be cranky about all of this . I am sure it will pass, if anyone knows how to make it go faster- please share.
  4. Thanks!! I have started eating about 5 times a day. I eat my 3 meals & 2 snacks. I am getting like 800-850 a day now. I feel so much better when I do!!
  5. Thank you Dooter! I am almost hate to admit it because I am afraid this like so many other diets will fail.

Why My Size Is The Same

I have kept up with my measurements- I am down 35 - 27 since surgery. I lost like 2 inches from my neck- 4 inches from my arms- & 3 1/2 from my boobs. I have noticed my back fat rolls are going down. Same pants size
  7. I have been hungry the past few days! It isn't head hunger, I get my fluids, I get around 80 grams of protein, and I am on Nexium. I AM HUNGRY!! Like non stop! If I eat a few bites it is gone. I also drank a 16 oz smoothie/ shake today.. and didn't feel my full feeling. I am on mushies & eat filling meat based meals & typically 1 snack a day.

I Think I Am Going Crazy

I feel hungry, at the appropriate times... like when I wake up and when I haven't eaten in a while. My nut said it was completely normal. I was sleeved 5/15. I am on a RX acid reducer, drink enough, and get enough protein. It isn't as bad & and goes away if I eat a few bites of a snack *high protein* or 1/2 of a protein shake.
  10. Thanks!! I had no idea about the dent before hand. I know all the diet instructions are different from doc to doc, but I keep hearing people with the same date saying how awesome they felt & I am still in pain!!
  11. This may not be really specific to Dr. Nicholson patients, but it sort of seems like my recovery is so different then other people who had surgery the same time I did from a different doctor. 1- How long until did it take for you to feel ok?? I mean be able to really go walking or even go to the store? 2. How bad and caved in was your side incision? Does it look normal after you heal? Thanks!!
  12. Jaymezee- I am right there with you! I just spoke with my doctor & am using ice, which ha been helping me. I alternate between ice and heat (for gas). My doctor does a deeper/ wider cut then some others. I am day 5 and am so bummed!! I know it will get better!!

3 Days Post Op And Tired Of Clears!

I am on the clear and doing okay... I like the Ispure Mango Peach. Has anyone done the strained Soups?? Like a tortilla Soup... strained with no cheeses or anything, just the broth that is obviously seasoned?? Or Wonton soup?? Is that okay? My clear liquid also has sf hot cocoa, ns carnation instant Breakfast, & thinned Protein shakes, & milk.
