Thank you girls that's great advise but can I ask you around how many oz are you consuming at each meal now? I think sometimes I can eat up to 10 oz.
  3. I guys I'm in need of some help. I had my gastric sleeve 04/09/12 1.5 years ago. I've been on a plateau for the last 6 months up 2 down 3 and so on. My big question since my DR went away to another state and I can't ask him. How much foo should I be eating? Sometimes I feel like it's too much. Can anyone help me out pls I'd really appreciate it. Hope everybody is having a great journey

  5. Thank you so much it's hard not to get discouraged by the same people who did the surgery
  6. Butternut squash soup, lentils soup are really good, kashi go lean oatmeal is high in protein and very yummy. I'm 9 months out and trust me it does get better don't worry, start introducing new food you might spit out some more than other but it's very normal. Most of us went through that. Good luck
  7. One advise could be to buy liquid vitamins that maybe will sit longer since its liquid. How long have you been out? That happened to me at the beginning also, it was frustrating and scary, but as time went by I learned to eat slower that usual and I'm telling you smaller really smaller meals and Swallowing so slow that I could get anyone bored. I'm serious that helped a lot too. Good luck and please keep us posted
  8. Hi guys I hope everyone is doing good!!! This is what happened. I'm 9 months out and today I went for my checkup I met with the nurse practitioner and she kind of got VERY discouraged. For the last 2-3 months I haven't been able to lose weight I'm up 2 down 2 and that's it, so I got worried, she said well Adriana I think this is it you're done loosing weight, and your body is just done, so I asked: does that mean that even if I keep going to the gym and eating well my body won't lose any more weight and she said yeah most likely. I'm terrified yeah I lost 63 lbs but I was hoping to be one of the 100 lbs "losers" did this happened to any of you? Can you be done by 9 months out? It's a little crazy to me but she might be right am I done?
  9. Look this is soooooo worth it that if for 10lbs you were to miss this huge opportunity well ill consider other choices. I'll be honest I got it done thinking it was going to be easier. Well, it's not. I get it now when they told me is only a tool but you will always remain on a diet. So do it now cuz it gets harder. Sorry but I'm telling u the truth
  10. Mine was 7 months ago. It didn't hurt inside at all just the stitches were killing me for a week you know like with any surgery it's hard to get up. Be patience every single day gets better. And one Huge thing to remember WALK WALK WALK it doesn't matter how much the stitches or anything else hurt trust me walking makes u feel much better. Good luck!!!
