God's Grace

I am 4 1/2 weeks out and I got a tall, skinny mocha. 80 calories, 8 grams of protein!

I bought a pair of $5 skinny jeans in size 12 (Aussie which is about a 10 US) over the weekend as an item to grow into....maybe. well this morning I tried them on, just to see how close they were..and shock horror and happiness they fit, snug but wearable...yeha!!!!
This is probably the biggest victory to date. Pre surgery starting at a 26/28 my goal size was a 14. I never saw or wanted to be tiny, I like curves just in the right places not bulges like before...so I am happy to get here atleast on the bottom....my tops still are a 16/18 and my boobs may stop me ever getting to a 14 as they have not shrunk much at all.
Man I feel cute, curvy and sexy today...ye me

Congrats to all that stay on the grind. Three weeks post-op, I hit my first milestone. I was 397. For the 1st time in over 10 years, I was under 400 #'s. I have to keep pushing. I have step up some nice rewards for myself at different milestones.

I was on a blood pressure medicine that also contained a diuretic. I don't really need the blood pressure pill any more according to my surgeon. :-) Now that I am not taking that pill I am retaining Water. I drank all 64 ounces of water yesterday and only needed to use the restroom once. I felt as though my fingers looked like hot dogs! Is there an OTC water pill that will help with this?

Thank all of you SO much! All of your words of encouragement mean so much to me. I am feeling a little better after getting all of the emotional mess stuff written out, hearing from ya'll and of course talking to my mom. I hadn't had an emotional meltdown yet, so it sounds like I was due for one if all of the hormones are being released. Thank you!!!!

I had cambell's cheddar cheese Soup it tastes like mac n cheese!
