  1. He's the head of bariatrics at good samaritian hospital in west islip. He definitely doesn't favor one over another. He holds a seminar with your options and tells you the positives and negatives of each and goes into detail on each surgery. I suggest you go to a few seminars at different places and see which surgeons you like the most
  2. I also had dr. Cussatti he's great
  3. Does anyone else find that after surgery they have more of a sensitivity to things?..I just started getting hives and I get itchy with things that never bothered me before
  4. I did noticed my body looking different despite no weight loss. Very odd
  5. So I haven't lost any weight in like 5 days. I know its the 3 week stall. How long does this last?
  6. Well like today I had some deli meat and cheese, after I had some ice pops, ill probably have some sf pudding and chicken salad later( not at the same time) and then some dinner. I think its more meals then snacks inbetween. Im just worried im doing this wrong
  7. My doctor told me only eat 3x a day. Im almost 4 weeks out and eating 4 or 5 times a day because its not practical for me only 3x a day. How many times does everyone else eat?
  8. I had the same exact thing. I just timed myself every 4 hours. Im almost 4 weeks out and im slightly getting the feeling back. Its the weirdest thing
  9. Its not warm its just red and swollen
  10. The incision in/at the rim of my belly button is hard and swollen/red. Im not fully sure if its from me sleeping on my stomach, something I wore, or something I did. Nothing is oozing or crusty its just tender, red, and swollen. Im almost 4 weeks out and im freaking out. Does anyone else get this? Im worried its infected
  11. No I looked it up and some people had that reaction..im guessing Its a sensitivity after surgery. I take some liquid benadryl when it gets super bad. Im almost 4 weeks out and I find its not happening as much though. Maybe its just gotta build up
  12. I get the same thing every once in a while..I get it from the prilosec I take in the morning
  13. I agree on that minty freshness
  14. Walking is the only thing that helps(was so frustrating after surgery). Not trying to be mean but I just keep seeing people suggest it for surgical gas pain and im thinking is there something I missed?
  15. Oops sorry for the typo stupid phone
  16. I was just curious why peoplesuggest are suggesting gas x strips for surgical gas after surgery? Its kind of driving me insane knowing it wont do a thing to help with surgical gas
  17. If its gas from surgery gas x wont do anything. The gas is used to expand your abdomen and isn't put inside your stomach or intestines rendering it useless. Surgical gas is "not that kind of gas". The only thing that'll help is a ton of walking. I had to walk every 5 minutes it hurt bad. Good luck!
  18. Im in east islip pretty close
