It is good you are weaning yourself off of meds. I am only taking childrens liquid tylenol at bedtime. Last night I slept the most- six hours! I am trying to get back to a normal sleeping schedule after the hospital stay. They woke me up every two hours taking my vitals! This morning I took a nap for an hour, my body needs the rest to heal, so I listen to it. I am getting stir crazy though. I want to go somewhere, eat something other than liquid, and have more energy! I feel like the shakes make me go to the bathroom. Once I feel gas I just go. I am sure once I can switch to thicker liquids and mushies that will change. I will be on a liquid diet for two weeks, this seems like a lifetime. My stomach really doesn 't make noises but I feel the liquid go down, usually by my second sip I feel full, like a ton of bricks. Going to this site helps me alot. Good luck in your recovery.

Hello! New here. Sleeved on June 3rd...

Well, I've had 2 meals on Clear Liquids and they think I'm doing so well that I get to go on full liquids for dinner! Also, probably going home tonight. Other than being super sore, I feel great and am surprised at how well my recovery is going.

Surgery went well. Pain was tolerable and managed. I walked every hour 3 laps of the hospital. The staff were really positive. My Dr. released me yesterday. He said all you have to worry about the next 2 weeks is walk. ,get my Protein in , Hydrate and he even told me to add a little cottage cheese into my diet. No problems getting my fluids and Protein down. The sleeve lets me know when I'm getting full and I set things down until I can sip again.
I'm off my cholesterol medication
I'm taking so much less of my insulin

Thanks all. I had my surgery 2 days ago! Still sore but almost no pain.
