  1. So my story in a nut shell is, I had the band done in 09 while i was with Blue Cross.It took a short amount of time to get approved, like less then a month. I lost about 35 pounds. Then gained it all back by the first year in a half. Now im with United Health Care and im waiting for them to approve me to change the band to the sleeve. The reason being is that my band slipped and the adjustments didnt work because of that. so i was wondering if you know anyone who has my current insurance and is awaiting approval for the surgery, or was waiting.. and how long did they wait for? did they have to pay a certain amount? did they have to take classes before surgery?? any info you can share will be greatly appreciated thanks

  3. Oh im so glad to hear that...So how long were you out of work before you went back?
  4. I was wondering if you would feel the difference right away? (As in restriction) ,would the pain be worse or less??... and what would be some suggestions you guys could maybe share, as in before and after sugery.. I would really appreciate it .. thanks
  5. That is so good, i am new this site, so i was wondering if you would have some tips on how to prepare for the surgery (both physically and mentally) anything would help really.. i havent had the surgery done, but im waiting on the insurance to approve.. .. Thanks
  6. Wow that is amazing, i hope i can say that about myself sometime this year. I havent had my surgery yet, but reading your post just makes me more and more anxious ... do you have any advise you can share with me on what to expect, or how i can prepare myself phically or mentally.. anything would help.. thanks
