LitaSoFly got a reaction from CantBelieve_IdidIit! in April Sleevers Check UpSleeved 4/17, I started out at 233 and lost 30 lbs before surgery. I've only lost 30 lbs since surgery but a whole lot of inches. I now weigh...drum roll please...173. I started out wearing size 22-24 and now I'm a 16....which I have never been in my entire adult life and medium to large shirts. I can now fit my 12 y/o's shirts!!!!! I'm happy with losing slowly and I don't have much more till goal. :-)

LitaSoFly reacted to AChristian in Anyone Regret Being Sleeved?I was sleeved Jan. 2011. Almost 1 1/2 ago. Yes, I do have moments of regret. Mainly because eating is not enjoyable anymore. I eat because I have to. I don't enjoy food anymore.

I have told obviously my hubby, my mum, my brother & about 6 friends so far. I have just been telling friends as it comes up.
Part of me wants to tell everyone on facebook. But then I worry what people will think, or if they will be watching all the time to see how much weight I lose.

LitaSoFly got a reaction from robindei in Im 3 Weeks Today! So I'm 3 weeks todays and feeling great. I've been a little tired but my energy is coming back. Over the weekend I had my first NSV...or shall I say I had two? I was going out with friends and went shopping for a new outfit....after being in a 22 for so long I can actually fit a 16. I have never worn a 16. When I was this size I was a teenager and I wore mens clothes anyway so I didn't know what a 16 looked like...and now I do!!! And my second NSV...I was the sober driver. I had an ok time...it wasn't really my scene but hanging out with friends and being able to relax and enjoy myself without being intoxicated felt great!!

LitaSoFly reacted to Misstxdiva in Two Nsv! Only 10 Days Post Op :)Tonight I went to the movies with my parents to see Think Like A Man(good movie by the way). Usually I fit uncomfortably in the seats with both armrests down, the showing was sold out so I had to have the armrests down. I still spill out of the armrest BUT it wasn't painfully uncomfortable. My mom even noticed how I sit comfortably now, I was able to seat peacefully and enjoy the movie .PLUS another NSV I fit comfortably in my dad's tiny Hyundai Accent now, no hunching, looking uncomfortable or praying for a short car ride. Sat comfortably and ran errands for two hours. So excited with these results, can't wait to see what's next!

LitaSoFly got a reaction from pussnboots in Post Op UpdateI just made it home. The pain is bearable. I found out that cold liquid makes my stomach hurt. It feels better when I drink hot or warm liquids. Other than that everything is fine. I'll update more when I rest up.

LitaSoFly reacted to BluebonnetMagonlia in Embrace Your Stall And Enjoy Your Success..inches Will Equal Lbs.I have been in a stall for about 3 weeks, but I have notice inches coming off, but I will admit not seeing the scale move was internally driving me crazy!!! But I did enjoy buying smaller clothes even though the scale held steady at 214 lbs...
I kept going to the gym and working out, eating my Proteins first, drinking my liquids, etc.. just trying to stay positive and encouraged and BAM! I did my 8 wk post op weigh in and the scale read 210 lbs... down 22 lbs since surgery 39 total weight lost!!
So my bottom line is that inches will equal pounds and inches will get you in a smaller size before the scale catches up with you
Operation Sexy 2012 in full effect!
