  1. I haven't been to one yet. My surgeon hosts one monthly but I haven't been. Who is your surgeon?
  2. I have been eating quite the same everyday. I am going to switch it up a little today. Thanks!
  3. I think I am going to have my husband hide the scale!
  4. I ate the usual stuff and even went over my protein goal. I haven't started working out yet. Maybe if I start a walking routine till I am cleared for the gym it will help.
  5. I am 4 weeks out and gained a lb last night somehow. Quite frustrating.
  6. I agree. Trial and error is right! We will get this right eventually. I am eating when I get hungry. About 5 times a day. I just make sure I get my protein in and fluids and make sure my calorie intake is good and I am eating the right kind of foods. Everything will balance out in time.
  7. My hair is super super thick to begin with. So I don't worry so much about it thinning some. Might help me cool down in this summer heat!
  8. Same issue with bread for me. I don't get my protein in if I eat a sand which. The bread gets me full too fast. I got the grocery store to shred some lunch meat for me so I eat that with some cheese on top. I even melt the cheese sometimes. It's good and full of protein.
  9. I know that's right! I wanna swim too!
  10. I was taking pills 3 days post op and having sugar free candy since about day 5. No issues
  11. I am almost 4 weeks out and still see it at 99 from time to time. It's weird.
  12. Ur doing the right things. I ran a low grade fever for quite a while. Surgeon said unless it gets over 101 not to worry. When I was first able to eat cream soups, I kept the amount to half cup to 3/4 cup at a time. It was hard to get it any more than the half cup but I was having soups more frequently than I eat now. Take care of yourself and sip those liquids!
  13. I tried it prior to Deciding on surgery and it made me super sick. I am going to be patient with my sleeve, no more fad dieting or taking any pills, follow what my surgeon says and let my body do what it's gonna do. I have faith that Jesus will make me the size I need to be!
  14. So sorry to hear about your spleen. Keep me posted.
