    May Sleeve!

I am doing fantastic. Have lost 18 lbs since surgery 3 weeks ago. Snoring is gone. Feeling great and doc says we can possibly start lowering my BP med dosages here in a week or so!!!! I started the process at 258. I am at 222 today. Hubby is changing on me. He is flirty as he$&!!! Taking me to dinner with friends tonight so he can show his good friend his "new wife"...can't imagine how he is gonna behave when I get thinner....

Left Side Pain And Acid Reflux

Heat helped mine too. If u have what I have all the doc does is give a script for pain mess and tell u it will go away eventually so using the heat should work. Also, if it hurts to breath in deep, I was told to do deep breathing as much as I could because of the risk of pneumonia from having surgery and breathing shallow constantly. Good luck!

I Made It My 1St Wk

I am 3 weeks out. Head hunger is normal. Here is a trick that has helped me. When u find yourself craving something, get a bottled water and sit down and sip it. After a few sips, instead of thinking about how good that cheesecake would be, ask yourself, am I really hungry or is this the head hunger? When I ask myself that my brain instantly does a "tank reading" on my tummy to see if I feel empty. 9 times out of 10 it's my head. So I drink my water and move on. Hope this helps.

    Gallbladder Surgery

I had it done laparoscopically... Funny thing is, the surgeon used my old gall bladder surgery scars for the sleeve surgery plus added a few. Worked out nicely. Lol

    Gallbladder Surgery

Rapid weight loss can cause stones and the more stones you accumulate the more attacks you get. Remove that thing! I had mine removed about 10 years ago after experiencing the same symptoms. During that time I had dropped 50 lbs on my own and the surgeon said it was the rapid weight loss and sudden drastic change in diet that did it . Who knew trying to get healthy would be so painful!!!

Left Side Pain And Acid Reflux

I hope your back is better. I had similar symptoms. Worse when I laid down and it would throb. I couldn't tell if it was a pulled muscle or a kidney stone or what so I went to my Pcp once I couldn't stand the pain any longer . I have chest wall syndrome which is common after any major surgery and can effect any part of your core area. It takes a while to heal from. I feel sore in that same area but better everyday. If the pain gets worse get it checked!

    I Made It!

Yeah, even if they didn't wake me and get me up every couple hrs I would get up, use the restroom and do laps back and forth in my room just to keep things going.

    Sensa

  11. I had surgery to lose weight, to get control over my declining health. To gain confidence so I will feel good being social again. To be sexy for my husband and old for my potential grand kids. And I just despise being a plus size.

    Back Pain

The kind of intermittent sharp stabbing pains I am having suggest nerves more than a strained back..my doc says she sees this happen a lot after major surgery. One day of meds down and it feels slightly better already. She says she sees it come, stay for a few weeks, then go. She also said it might be part of the nerves waking up on the inside after the surgery.

    Back Pain

I just went to the doc with this pain today. On my lower left side of my back. Thought it was my kidneys...she thinks its a syndrome called chest wall...that can actually happen anywhere surgery is performed in the body. Basically sensory nerve damage that will get better over time. She put me on pain meds...I hope it goes away fast. It hurts!
  19. That's why I was confused when she said that's what I have. The pain is in my lower back on the left side where my kidney is...but she says chest wall is just a term and can happen anywhere in ur body that a foreign object has been in. That's why she thinks me being catheterized did it...who knows...I am in lots of pain is all I know.
