  1. Really think about it. Are you really starving or is it just head hunger? Keep yourself busy to keep your mind off being hungry. You can do this. Just remember we have all been there and we all survived! Good luck!
  2. It takes about a month and yes it will get better each day. Remember your port is attached to your abdominal muscles which is why it takes longer to heal. Good luck!

  8. I went directly to Dr. Fox's office but he is part of True Results. I had my surgery and I do all my fills with True Results. Everyone is very nice.

  10. Sould be a quick appt. My NP had me lay on a pillow and felt around and next thing you know it was over.

  12. Congrat on your hard work. I hope you will meet your goal for June. Like you I had smaller clothes tucked away because I knew I would be able to fit into them someday and it is great. It is like I new wardrobe!!
  13. If you don't want a fill just tell them you don't want one. Really it depends on the progress you make throughout the month. My first appt I didn't have a fill because I didn't think I needed it and my NP stated the same. Keep up the good work!

  18. I didn't tell anyone except my husband of course. My sons knew I was having surgery and I told my daughters post op. I just told my mom and sisters on Sunday. Yes I had surgery in Feb but I was just ready to tell them plus my youngest sister asked what I was doing so I was honest and told her. She was happy for me and then my other sister asked the same thing within minutes. I told her too and they were very supportive. I don't know why I wanted I just wasn't ready. I have only told a couple people at work and they are very supportive too.
  19. I had surgery on Friday and went back on Tuesday but I sit at a desk. I think it really depends on what you do.

  21. Great news. I have a small fill done today too (.5cc)
  22. Just a quick update! Had my second fill today and loving my band! I am down 8.2 lbs and recieved a small fill today. This should push me into the green zone because I am so close.

    I'm down 8.2 lbs! I am loving my band and loving life. I also found out they put in 2cc in my band last month and today the NP told me I only needed a small fill and she put in .5cc. Hopefully this will put me in the green zone because I am so close! PS love updated my ticker!!!
