I Was Ready To Got Back!
You can take advil. You need to make sure you get up and walk around even if it is just for a few minutes. The first week I went back to work I was still gassy and in slight pain. I had my surgery on Friday and went back to work the following Tuesday. Good luck!

I Didn't Want Anyone To Know!!!
Wow what a coincidence... I am sorry you ran into someone you know. You can always say you were exploring options. Remember this is for a healthier you. I have not told anyone except for my immediate family (husband and children). I haven't even told my parents. I think this is your personal choice on who and when you tell someone. Maybe the girl you saw won't even say anything to anyone because she was working. Good luck to you!!

Banded But Not Banded

Do You Still Have Restriction Without A Fill?
The band is helping! When I had my first appointment for a fill I was told I didn't need one at this time. I read on here before a lady who has been banded 3 years and has never received a fill. My doc told me not to get a fill if you don't need it. It's not all the band it is you too. Way to go and keep up the good work!

What Size Is The Realize Band??
I received a temp card when I was discharged and went online once I got home and they sent me a permenate Patient ID Card. My card has the system id #, Name, surgery date, Surgeon, surgeons telephone number and band size and max fill volume. I was told I could use mine to order kid meals too! LOL...

March 19 I Was Banded
It is most likely gas. I know it is hard to move around but the more you do the better you will feel. They have liquid vitiamins at the Walmart. I have only found one kind but they were on the top shelf and you can even ask someone at the pharmacy counter for help.

March 19 I Was Banded
Walk for the gas pain! I know it is the worst but walking really does help. You may want to change from gummy to liquid or even childrens chewables. I had problems taking the gummies at first but I can take them now (banded 2/3/12). The gummy seems to stick together and that could be a problem when trying to pass through the band. Congrats and Good Luck on a new you!!!

True Results Dallas, Dr Fox???
