  10. Hi I'm 14 months in 123lbs gone...only filled to 3....currently have a slip which will be adjusted Thursday.... I'm so happy with my decision to have it done....just hoping no more slips....
  11. The weight loss I'm excited about the doc told me if I Los this much weight with barely any restrictions I could prib have done it without the surgery I truly doubt that....as far as the slip I have no idea....I been working out a lot sick a few times could have been anything
  12. So after having my surgery 11/11/11 n down 123lbs with only 3 ccs I have to get my band adjusted bc it slipped....I'm nervous n scared n really don't want to do this but the slip is causing a blockage above the band causing lots of discomfort n vomiting....
  13. Jean thank u....bc of the hernia I cannot get anymore fills after 5 ccs bc nothing passes through... I'm going for another swallowing study soon to rule everything out...I hate to lose my band also bc it has worked with me n helping me lose my weight..
  14. Hey guys I was banded 11/11/11 and as of today I lost 115lbs with only getting filled to 5 ccs I just recently learned I have a hernia which is gonna cause me to have my band removed...I'm upset bc I really felt the band was working...now I'm scared I may go backwards... I have learned about watching what I eat n how much I can handle...
  15. Thanx sue but my doc doesn't want to replace just remove...n I thought I was doing good since I lost the 115 in a year with 4-5 ccs
  16. Yes it is a hiatal hernia that happened after the surgery a year later.....

  19. After having my band for 1 year only getting a fill to 5cc n losing 115lbsi have to get it removed n try another surgery bc I have a hernia somewhere around the band causing me to get sick when I get filled over 5.. I'm scared bc I don't want to get another weight loss procedure but I'm even more scared of gaining the weight back if I don't do it...I have 2 weeks before I go back to the doctor... to top ot off NY doc tells me the band turns out not to be a good thing and has been removing a lot of them...
