  1. Thx:) also u say a 6 month thing idk if my insurance will make me do that how do I check?
  2. I have Aetna thru my husband (works at PO) they pay 90% after my deduct! And when I called them they never said anything about a plan! How do I find out if they require more?
  3. Yes I have high blood pressure on meds:( thanks for the info thus far:) I'm excited to start my journey but still scared!! Dr says I need to lose @ 80 lbs:/ and when I spoke to the insurance company they didn't mention any extras!(Aetna) if any one knows there requirements plz let me know:)
  4. Am new don't have a surgery date yet but have to attend the seminar on the 15th:)) I'm super excited but scared at the same time! I'm 5'2" tall and weigh 201 my bmi is 38.5 and I have high blood pressure:( I have struggled since the birth of my first child 11 yrs ago and it's getting worse!! I'm afraid they are going to tell me the lap band isn't for me but I have been thru soooo many diets and haven't lost a pound! Please tell me I have a chance:(

Hi my first lap band meeting is feb 29 2012:-) I've been over weight for about 10 yrs:( weighing 200 pounds on my 5'2" frame:( my BMI is at 38 and I have HTN and arthritis and who knows what else!!! I've been on lots of "diets" and haven't lost anything! Real upsetting! I know my ins will cover 90% after my deductible is paid:) is there any information I need to know:/
