After Surgery/going Back To Work

I was just curious about something. I work at a desk job (9-5). I was thinking when it is time for me to have surgery, to schedule it if I am able on a Tuesday and then have til the next Monday to go back to work. I recall when I had my gall bladder removed, (when I worked as a bank teller) I went back to work fairly quickly (in that time frame). Does anyone have thoughts on this? -
you can do it. I am hoping for August surgery (I have to do a 6 month dr visit). hang in there.

Considering Lapband Surgury

I had to go my PCD to get a referral to my insurance for this lap band. Then I went to the seminar with the clinic I found to do the the lap band, and started all my pre-op requirements and bc of my insurance/clinic, I have to do a 6 month DR eval. I am working on my third month. Surgery is slated for me for August. I guess it depends on your insurance. -

Trying to think if I should get my stuff together (since I have completed all pre-op requirements) and have the clinic submit my items for Tricare approval (without the 6 month dr visits completed). (I have done 2 of the 4 PCD visits).. As Tricare stated they did not need me to wait 6 months..but clinic is saying that Tricare does.. any thoughts...

when you get the lap band, does restriction start? my nutritionist says it does but on the forums, i am reading that restrictions dont start until the 1st or 2nd or whatever number fills. can someone please explain?
