  1. Do you know if any of the shake companies offer a variety pack or 'sample packs?' I bought a few single serving packs of nectar and jay somebody shakes... I would like to taste some of these BEFORE I spend 30-50 to find out they are gross and throw it away. Yes I am a little crazy getting ready for my 2 week pre-op diet.

    Thanks

Tryabouttime.com offers individual servings and are tasty. Also unjury is good as great customer service (that is the one I have been using). Love the Unjury strawberry sorbet and mix with minute maid light

  2. My son in law has severe sleep apenea and they gave him the bi-pap machine' date=' however it is like the c-pap only for more severe cases of apenea. I know my doctor said bring your machine to the hospital if you did have it.[/quote']

My doctor told me to being mine as well and it was in the same spot I left after surgery, in the bag.

  3. I have to say that I think the band is not for everyone. My band adjusts with my body so every day is different for me. My father on the other hand had the band and is down 100lbs. My port sits at a tilt, makes it hard to get fills and my father is in and out in seconds as his is just in the right direction as it should be. I think there will always be good and bad with each persons adventure with the band.

  4. I'm waiting on a phone call from the surgeons office. I feeling good right now. Just never know when it will act up again. Thank you for asking.

How come you are having it removed? I have not had the best of luck so looking at this as an option in the future.

When I say best of luck meaning that my band some days are so tight everything gets stuck to the next day I can eat as if there is nothing there. Have had fills then end up going back in to get in fill, have done that now about 5 times.

    Good luck with the removal

  5. I was weighing in only once a week' date=' but this month I've broken up with my scale. I was getting too focused on the number. My clothes were loose, but the numbers weren't changing and it was driving me crazy! I'm trying to focus on how I feel, and not a number. For now that's what's best for me. You have to choose what's best for you, keeping yourself on track without going overboard. Good luck.[/quote']

I am the same way- I was weighing all the time but was getting discouraged when my cloths felt better on me, I was feeling like I was loosing weight but scale wouldn't budge. I am really just trying to go off how I feel.

Like others have said, each person works with the results of the scale differently :)

  6. I have recently tried unjury and am a huge fan. I purchased a few of the single serves to try and the unflavored it good as well I really like the strawberry sorbet. I have tried the strawberry with oj and love it, drink it in the morning on the way to work.

Another brand I recently tried was abouttime - website tryabouttime.com and they as well have single servings you can buy and try before buying a jug.

  7. I have heard u climb over stuff and crawl under stuff. And I also believe you can walk around it if it looks like it's too much. I had some friends that did it and loved it!! We are doing the color me rad 5K in June. I have been doing couch to 5k so maybe I can run it all!

I am also doing the color me rad in June in Portland, Or. I am working with the couch210k app.

I am also signed up for foam fest in August and warrior dash in September. Goals for the year :)

  8. I truly appreciate the great responses and the eight rule video provided by 2muchFun. I am taking it slow and refocus on me now. Unfortunately I have no children so the lonelines and guilt for being alive weighs heavily on me.

A personal thank you to Marci for the wonderful advise' date=' I hope I can be happy again.[/quote']

I am so sorry for your loss-

  9. I would order directly from the website first. I personally bought the package they had with samples of all of their flavors to see what I liked most and once I decided which ones were good I started ordering mine from eBay. They are brand new and nothing wrong with them except very cheap. I only use them when I have those days where I am not in the mood to really eat anything. They taste great if you blend them with the right stuff. Hope this helps...

I checked out eBay and only saw two and both were chocolate. Do you find unflavored on eBay?
