And we're leaving in the morning to head to Stratford Canada until Monday. Hope everyone has a great weekend. It was 90 degrees here today and I had absolutely no time to get in the pool. That really sucks!!! I will be in it for sure when we get back next week. Will check in on Tuesday or sooner if Bob's little notebook can locate some wifi at the bed and Breakfast.

Good morning, Violets.. I'm up, dressed and waiting for the Bobster to get his rear in gear so we can go biking this morning. It's 45 degrees and the sun is shining. It's going to be a beautiful ride. Ethan comes at noon and I have a flute rehearsal at 11. Then choir tonight and packing to head to Stratford, Ontario tomorrow for a long weekend. We're going to see West Side Story on stage. Can't wait!! Suzie... I'm on the last page of the journal you gave me. Can you believe it's been that long?? Tomorrow I start a new journal.. my 4th since getting the lapband. I sometimes go back and look at the very first one and see how far I've come. TracyK... don't worry about the scale. It's how you feel and how your clothes feel. I KNOW from your postings that you are in a much better place now than you were a month or so ago. Focus on that, not on the numbers. I haven't weighed in ages. I know I'm doing what I'm supposed to do and my clothes are fitting better and I have more energy. I'll weigh in someday, but not now. I don't want to be tied to the scale. And I don't want to be disappointed by it. So I choose to ignore it for now and keep on doing my thing. Off to hit the bike path. Everyone have a great day. Be good to yourselves.

Good afternoon, Violets. I'm back from an hour and 15 minute bike ride. The weather here is just perfect for that. 57 degrees and sun is shining. I could have gone another hour, but I have other things I need to get done here. Haydee.. normally I wouldn't mind asking the Bobster if I missed his birthday, but with the other trip and me not being able to go with him to our church's big, BIG meeting, I didn't want to press my luck. While I'm in Alabama, he'll be in Grand Rapids meeting and worshiping with about 4,000 other people. I really wish I could be part of that worship service, but I'll be a Violet instead.:redface: And though I know he'll have many more birthdays, at this point in our lives, each one is special and I really don't want to miss any of them. We usually have a big cookout with the family because his birthday usually falls on Memorial Day, but it doesn't this year, so I don't know what the plans are yet. If Dr. PamELa had picked any other weekend, I could have swung it, but noooooooooooooooo.. Take lots of pics for us so we can enjoy too. Off to try and record a concert from a tape recorder to this laptop so I can burn some CDs. I have to have it perfectly quiet and that's not easy with the dogs, the phone and the scanner. I'm off to the bedroom to shut the door and hope for quietness. BBL..

Good morning, Violets.. Yes, even I have been to a rodeo. When I visited an online friend in Oklahoma, he and his wife took me to see a Pow Wow and a rodeo. I'm off to my hospital shift and then hope to do the bike path again. It's going to be warm today, but the sun just disappeared so I don't know if there is rain in the forecast or not. Michelle.... sure wish I was going to Ca. too, but the Bobster refuses to change his birth date. Take LOTS of pics for us and PamELa.. yes, I want to see the video!! They're not one of my favorites. But they were free, so I figured what the heck!

The scones are delicious and they are also stuck!! I ate a half of one with no butter and it's sitting in my throat. Son Joe had one and the Bobster downed one also. And Kirby is licking the crumbs off of Bob's chest. Everyone seems to like them! It's meat loaf and cheesy potatoes for supper tonight. Then off to the movie. Will check in afterwards.

Good afternoon, Violets.. Bob and I went for an hour bike ride this morning. The weather is perfect here. Ethan is here right now and Bob and Joe are out golfing. After Ethan goes home, Bob and I will have dinner and then go see Star Trek. It's nice not to have rehearsals on Monday anymore til winter. The pool guys were just here and replaced the skimmer. I didn't even know there was a problem with it. I'm hoping to get in the pool tomorrow after my hospital shift. I have some white chocolate Raspberry scones in the oven right now. I won a basket of goodies and the mix was part of it. They sure smell good!

Good evening, Violets.. I did an hour and 15 minute bike ride today by myself. I just love being outside and seeing everything all greening up. Now I'm headed to our Community Chorus concert. I have one number that I'll be playing flute with the choir and the rest, I sing with them. I want to get home asap afterwards so I can watch the season finale of Desperate Housewives. We don't have Ethan until noon tomorrow so Bob and I can go biking at 10. Hope everyone has a good evening. Sleep well!

Good morning, Violets.. I'm off to church and then biking this afternoon and a concert this evening. I had a piece of toast with cheese melted on top for breakfast and it's not going down. I've already pb'd once and am on my for a second round. Oh well, live and learn. Everyone have a great day!! Swimming pool is 82, but I can't put the solar cover back on by myself and Bob is out of town for the day so I guess I'll wait until tomorrow to get some swimming in.

CUTE haircut!! What a cutie patootie she is!! I got home at 2:30 today and was asleep for a nap at 3. Got up and fixed some spaghetti for supper with some sauce that a friend gave us. Rehearsal was 7 - 9:30 and now I'm home for the evening and finally can take a breather. Tomorrow my plan is to trike from 10-11, then swim in the pool.. then flute rehearsal at 3 and then some more swimming. Now that's if the weather cooperates. Kris came over for a little bit today while Nathan was playing softball. Grady was dressed in a baseball sleeper.. so cute! He's smiling a lot now. Only a few more weeks til Kris goes back to work and I start babysitting the big guy. I can't wait. Off to watch a little tv and then head to bed. Everyone have a good evening. Sleep well.

Good morning, Violets. Been up since 5:30 and now getting dressed to head to Kdg. round up. We'll finish today and get the kids all grouped and split up between teachers. Dress rehearsal tonight for our community chorus concert. I play flute in one number so I got my picture in the paper yesterday.. woo hooo.. not a very attractive shot, I couldn't muster a lovely smile. It was more of a smirk. Everyone have a great day. The pool was 79 degrees just now after the air temps getting into the 30's last night. It should warm up more once the sun comes out. Will check back in this evening..

Good evening, Violets.. I had Kdg. round up today and have been on the go since 5:30 this morning. Now I know why I retired. It was fun though, seeing all my former colleagues and some students. I go back tomorrow for another round. The only bad part is the 120 round trip miles by myself. Suzie.. our pool is up to 78 degrees tonight. I should be swimming on Saturday. Can't wait!!! TracyinKS... good for you on your ice cream free days!! I had a schwans ice cream sundae cone tonight. It was an ice cream kinda day for me. But none tomorrow. I'm rationing myself. I couldn't go triking today because the wind was sooooooo strong, I probably would have tipped over!! I'm going to watch CSI and then head to bed. I'm not used to these super early mornings.
