21 Days till the Violet Reunion Bandiversary Bash and 1st ever Violet Baby Shower! :biggrin:

Good evening, Violets.. What a great day today and hopefully we'll have another little Violet to spoil soon. I did my pool exercises two times today for close to an hour each time and took a 50 minute bike ride with the Bobster. I ate perfectly and snacked this evening on soy nuts. I know I'm at my sweet spot with the band. I could barely get dinner down... stuffed chicken breast and broccoli with cheese. I'm doing my best to cut out sweets and ice cream and let the band do what it's supposed to do. I'm really hoping to get that -5# this month. The Bobster was sweet today. When he came to find me in Walmart after he got gas in my car, his first words were..."gosh, you look thin". I LOVE that guy!! Tracy.. sorry you couldn't make the trip to see your nephew graduate. Hope you're feeling better. I'm going to finish my last bottle of juice and then head to bed. Everyone have a great evening. sleep well.

I only need two bottles because I reuse them. One in the freezer, one in my hand at all times.

Just one or two bottles of Water for this Case.. Sounds like we have the beverages covered!

Good afternoon, Violets.. We're back from the vets to get the yorkies their annual check ups and shots and heartworm meds. $183 later... YIKES!! We then went out to lunch with our oldest son Allen. He's 43 today... double YIKES!! We adopted him when he was 5. He's got mental issues, but is doing well, living with a girl for 7 years now and delivering papers every day. He lives on SSI and his paper income. Raising him was extremely difficult so Terry I definitely feel your pain. As long as Al is on his meds, he's able to function. Thank God for drugs! I'm off to the swimming pool. Air temp is 61 and water temp is 88 so I'll be running quickly from the house to the pool. Will check in later this afternoon.

Oh no, Laura.. no problems. She was at that site looking for things to get for Grady and noticed the colic section and thought of you and Carson. Grady is cranky now and then, but only when he's hungry or poopy. He's a pretty happy baby so there is light at the end of the tunnel..

As long as nobody minds me putting Splenda on all the tomato-y sauces, I'm fine. Laura, you should have a room to yourself with Carson so you can do your mommy thing. If he gets restless in the night and you need some relief, just knock on my door and I'll..............send you to see Dr. PamELa.:tt2:

I had another good day. Ate wisely, did an hour of exercises in the pool and after choir rehearsal I took a 50 minute bike ride. I don't have Ethan again until Monday so I have lots of time to get pool exercises and biking in. I haven't had dinner yet and it's almost 9 p.m. Bob has been golfing and isn't home yet. We'll head to Applebees and do the 1/2 price appetizers. I just know I'll have acid reflux tonight by eating so late, but no choice with choir. Only one more rehearsal and I'll have Wednesday evenings free for swimming!! Off to put the cover back on the pool and then eat. Hope you all have a good evening. Sleep well.

I hate to be a party pooper... I know, I already am with the drinks, but if your Mexican dinner is spicy, I'm not a fan. I don't do guacamole and usually tomatoey things don't thrill me. BUT, that's just me. As long as we don't have Mexican every night, I'm fine. I'll just pick. 3 eating in and 1 out or 2 eating in and 2 out is fine with me either way.

Good morning, Violets.. Boy, oh boy am I stiff and sore this morning!! Ethan has arrived and I'm set to go to my flute rehearsal. We got him some pop up books and a bubble blower for his birthday plus some clothes. He's more excited about the Hoops and YoYo birthday card. Tracy... you're still doing a great job. Because of you, I had a great day yesterday. No nibbling or grazing all day. I had my meals and that was it except for a popsicle in the evening. Usually I have a root beer float bar and the yorkies get to lick the last bit of ice cream on the stick. They love that. The do NOT love licking the last bit of lime popsicle! That was a shock to their tastebuds last night. lol Suzie.. the pool water was 87 degrees yesterday. It was wonderful!! I hope to get in this afternoon with Ethan. Off to toot my flute for a couple of hours. Everyone have a great day!

Good evening, Violets.. I had a great day today. I ate well, rode my trike for an hour and did water exercises in the pool for an hour. Water temp is 88 and the air temp was 58 so it was wonderful in the pool. I'm soooooooooo glad we decided to get the gas heater. Otherwise, it would be July before I could get in the pool. I'm sore all over tonight, but I'm glad I got the exercise in. Tomorrow Ethan comes at 8 and stays till 4. I hope to get him in the pool with me. i have a flute rehearsal in the morning and choir rehearsal at night. Only one more choir rehearsal for the season after that, then I'm free on Wednesday evenings for the summer. Tracy... Macy looks soooooo cute. I love the picture where she's holding up the diploma with the cap down just about over her eyes. Adorable! Terry.. glad things are going a little better. Baby steps are good. Chocolate, not so much..:wub: Everyone have a good evening. Sleep well. I'm off to bed so I can get up early and greet Ethan with his birthday presents. He turned 3 today. We weren't invited to any kind of party if he had one, so we'll have one here for him tomorrow.

Good morning, Violets.. Lazy day here today. No Ethan, no hospital shift, no nuthin. I'm going to plant the flower boxes and containers today and get in some swimming and biking before my singing rehearsal tonight. The sun is out and it's 52 degrees. Hopefully it will warm up a bit more before I get in the pool. Bob is at his morning coffee get together and I'm just chillin' here. Michelle.. welcome home! And just a short time until you are a free woman. And then a week after that we're off to Alabama for some Carson time. Grady will be here tomorrow while his mom gets a haircut, but I will be at flute rehearsal so the Bobster will have Ethan AND Grady to contend with. Should be interesting!! Finally somebody gets it!!!! We are here for each other no matter what we weigh. Lapband brought us together and friendship grows from that. Ain't no group like the Violets,that's for SURE. So glad our representatives had a good time in California and those of us going to Alabama will try and be good reps for the Violets as well. And this will be a yearly trip, so if you can't go this year, there's always next and next and next until you come to visit me in the nursing home!!:party:

Me again.. Just got off the phone with Kris and she quit her job. She said she just couldn't leave Grady. He was up at 3:30 feeding and afterwards gave her a big smile and that was it. She had been having panic attacks and couldn't breathe worrying about leaving him. Fortunately she is blessed with the choice to work or not. I just told her to please keep things current so she doesn't lose her LPN certificate. Sooooooooo no extra Grady time for Grandma. sigh. I do wish she would have given it a chance, but it's her choice. Off to my volunteer shift. Still raining here. :party:

Good morning, Violets.. Tracy.. I'm with you!!! Enough of this farting around with one or two pounds up and down. I need to get serious about losing again. With the pool open now, I can get more exercise. Unfortunately my plans for today got shot down by the weather. It's 45 and pouring out. I was going to jump in the pool after my hospital shift and bike ride tonight after Ethan leaves. Unless the weather improves, that's not going to happen. But I do have the new Wii fitness DVD so will have to do that sometime today. I'm definitely going to Palm Springs sometime to visit the Doctor. That's on my bucket list. I'm so glad we were able to have Violet representatives at the party. Just wish I could have been one of them. Off to get dressed to head to the hospital. I need to find my umbrella... grrrrr.
