  1. It depends on your surgeon and (in my case) the insurance company. I had surgery on January 30th and the insurance company authorized it as an overnight. My surgery was late in the afternoon and I went home at 1 this next day.
  2. I had my surgery on the 30th and the shoulder pain for the past two days have been the only reason I've had to take the pain meds. I tried Gax X and then Phazyme, and finally got some relief today. Other than that, it's been pretty good. The pre-surgical liquid diet was easier. I keep wanting to try to eat SOMETHING, but am terrified of something going wrong. Glad to join you ladies and I know we all made the right decision! Let's pull each other through.
