Hi guys haven't been on in a good while, I'm 12 weeks banded & 3st 10pd down, delighted so far have excellent restriction at 4.5mls. Only if I got banded years ago!!! Hope every one else is going good... :-)

That my first week over, got on the scales this morning & ive lost 16pound, I'm delighted. Starting to feel hungry now :-( is this normal after a week, the liquids aren't to bad, just getting a bit tired of soups now, quick question how much shud I be eating at this stage, I'm only managing water, yogurts n soup, would love a different texture im living for the mushy stage haha!!!

Hi cazzy n wannabe, Thanks for thinking about, op went fine, back In the hotel with my. Feet up. Chris bart nurse hospital were fantastic . Excited & a wee bit sore. but very happy I've done it!!!!

Thanks slinky, great advice. My partner is travelling with me, so he be doing all the lugging, all packed & ready for the start of my new life ha! Il deal with does injection when I have to ha! The taughts of it at the moment eeekkkk!

Thanks slinky your a gem!! Have all that packed now, went out and bought pre made shakes that I'm going to freeze and hopefully they be still cold by the time I need them & packet of soup but as u said hopefully I won't feel hungry! Just to pop the shop n get wind ease I'm hoping to be 1 of the lucky 1s and not have to use it!! Il let you's know how I get on, and no doubt I be back on to ask question! This forum is literally a life saver! :-)

2 weeks to the day folks so excited!!! Just a quick question I've gone for the package with airport transfers! Did any body else get the transfers. If so where did you meet the taxi? Was there somebody waiting as you came through arrivals?

only 3 weeks till my op!!! ive started my pre op diet... finding it hard as i keep thinking of what i cant have & my brain keeps saying this time 3 weeks u defo wont be having this... ha ha!!! can any body tell me they done pre-op diet and also whats the best things to have in my fridge presses etc for after op! want to be orginised. nerves hitting in all ready.. very strange as this is all ive wanted for years...

Thank you for all your well wishes, I was just wondering I've paid my deposit the other day, what the next step will I hear from Bart or the clinic. Will I just go ahead and book my flights? I know it's all above board & save. I've just not heard back since paying. Is this the norm? Did anybody else go ahead n book flights straight away... Dates were already confirmed.. Just need reassurance from all you bandsters!!!!

Got my operation pushed 4weeks closer getting banded 8th may!! The nerves excitement I can't explain it. The taughts of being a few stone lighter is unimaginable. I know it's been said serval times on this link but I really don't want to search for it :-P Can anybody give me a quick run through of what I need to bring with etc! cheers guys! X

Just a quick question I'm going for the package that you get transfers with. I was advised to fly into Brussels international but I'm get much cheaper flying into Charleroi. Did any body else have any problems with flying into Charleroi? Cheers! :-)

Good morning all! I'm over the moon, I'm book in for the 1st June to be banded. Already dreaming of all the clothes shopping I Be doing. :-) I'm sure nearer the time I will have loads of question! Hope all weight loss is still moving! X

Hi all! Well it's took me over a week to read from the start of this topic, & I'm delighted I did. I'm meeting with Bart Rommes ( Patient Care Manager with Belgium surgery services) on Friday 17th & hoping to get booked in for may! Has any body ever meet Bart? Does he work directly with Dr Chris? :-)
