  2. I was just at my support group and this came up. One woman mentioned that she had nausea for 2 weeks post op and just suffered through it. When she went for her scheduled MD visit she was told she should have called the office as there are many meds that can be prescribed to help relieve the nausea. You might want to call you MD to see if they can help. Hope you feel better soon!
  3. GLove, It only took one day. I was amazed. The Dr submitted everything on Feb 2 and they had the approval on the 3rd.
  4. Best of luck to you Marianna! I'm sure you will do fine. Can't wait to hear your experiences. I am scheduled for March 19th. You will be a seasoned veteran by then! Barb
  5. What an inspiring story! I too am having my surgery in March, on the 19th. Glad to hear of someone who had such a great experience. May we be so fortunate!
  6. What kind of greek yogurt do you use LB4Me? Can you have the kind with fruit in it after awhile? I was told just plain in the beginning.
  7. Thanks for the tip on the blender bottle! I will have to order one! Great invention.
  8. My Dr said it depends on how soon I am really awake, able to walk to the bathroom and go, and be able to take some fluids. Some go home in 4-5 hours, some spend the night. Individual for each person and how they progress.

  10. My Dr submitted to the insurance on Feb 2nd and had the approval by Feb 3rd. Scheduled for March 19th. This all has gone so quickly! Nervous and excited. I was given a list of protein drinks and powders that they recommend and plan to try several to see what I like the best. Will be on them for 1 week pre op and 2 weeks postop. Love this forum to chat with others going through the same. Not comfortable talking about it to many people as they just don't understand what it is like, what a big decision it was to decide on the surgery.
  11. Do they all have to be crushed for awhile? I am still in the pre band process and was wondering how others handled this. Thanks!
