I am on liquid diet for 6 dyas now... lost around 6 pounds so far

But just a question why they dont wnat to band you with the thyriod not under control?

Hi Jess55 Yes, this was first and almost my only concern with my surgeon however he said no problem at all.. He said that I even have better chance to lose weight because of breastfeeding… and as today is my first day in my pre ops diet I was afraid from this diet… I am not afraid that my milk supply will go down what I am afraid of is that my milk will harm my baby..

thanks.. mine called slimtime from Canada.. I start fear this diet with breastfeeding to the extend that I am thinking to postpond the surgery till I am done with the breastfeeding..

Hi alltoday is my first day of the liquid diet and I am just wondering if this diet is a high protin low carb diet as I am breastfeeding and I am afreid that this kind of diet will harm my baby. Thanks

Thanks for your feedback.. I know it is an old post but I have a 2 month old baby and I am going to be banded Feb 15th,, the doc said no issues but I wanted to see women experiance so u engouraged me that it will not be a big problem.. thank you

Hi, I am with Sunlife as well and I am scdhuled for the surgery on Feb 15th, 2012.. I called them this morning they said that they not covering this surgery they never mentioned anything about the surgeons fees.. since I asked them about the lapband in general.. please let me know how can I do this.. did you submit the recipte after the surgery or you got thier approval first?! Thanks
