  3. Congrats to you all! I am BCBS, I heard back after just a couple of days saying I needed a final weigh in submitted, to make sure I had gained any weight. I had to be on a six month program. I did that and they resubmitted on March 6, I got the letter just a couple of days later, the letter was dated March 6th! Go figure the same day? Good luck to all of you on your journey!
  4. Welcome Jaime! I was banded on the 22nd....how are you doing? I'm doing well, just a very tender tummy and dealing with the gas pain in the left shoulder and neck. Luckily its fairly mild so nothing too bad. I'm having trouble getting all the protein down although today was better I'm at 71gr right now, if I finish the two drinks I have going right now. lol Good luck on your journey!
  5. LOL well I spoke too soon too, I started getting a slight pain in my shoulder and neck area starting Sunday night. GasX strips have helped a little, have been trying to walk and have put the heating pad on it too. Doing better all around, the tummy is just still very tender although I was able to sleep on my right side the past few nights. Hope you healing well!

  14. Hi Sarah, I'm 3 days post op and I was disappointed to find I was up 2 lbs. But from what I read on here that's totally normal with the gas they pump into us and all the iv fluids. My nurse was concerned because I wasn't going to the bathroom very much with all the fluids I was getting. I have to hold my stomach when I get up for the first few minutes. I think I might be getting a slight gas feeling in my left shoulder up to my neck. I'm using a heating pad on it right now. It's not painful so far. Hope your recovery continues to go well, take care! Deb
  15. Great job Shellebelle! Thanks for sharing, you're an inspiration! I'm hoping to say the same thing within the next year.

That feels great huh?! Just keep doing what you're suppose to and those scales will eventually show it to. I think that's why too they want us to take our measurements because you're more apt to see the results there. And I agree....God is good!!
  17. I couldnt find any either. The pharmasist told me they didn't make it, to use the children's just double the dosage.
  18. I would say gall bladder also.... if you ever really need to have it out maybe your mom won't be living with you so it won't an issue that it is now. Good luck!!
  19. My doctor says no alcohol. I'd check with your doctor since all are so different. Good luck!
  20. Meemee...since I hadn't gone by Thursday morning after I got home I took a tablespoon of MOM and went this am.....I don't let it go for more than two days max. My doctor gave me a prescription also to keep things moving. Deb
  21. Glad you're doing ok! I slept on and off in my recliner then to bed about 10:30, slept pretty good although up like 3 times for the bathroom. The getting up and down is the toughest so far.
