My husband and I both had our lap band surgery done on march 9th, 2012...he was a little hesitant at first, but I made all the arrangements and he just showed up to all the appts, I think it was easier for him that way. Just make sure you have someone to check up on you during the first couple of days since you guys will be too sore to do any bending. And once he see the weight start coming off you will have to do very little to twist his arm to go for the filling appts. I think it was awesome that we did this journey together. We had the same pains, the same scars, the same dilemmas, and success. There has been definitely a stronger bond between my husband and I, because we did this for the same reason, to be and live a healthy lifestyle for us and our children.....
