I am also having my procedure on the 24th. I am so excited I can barely stand it! I have been working towards this since September and can't believe it is here already! Good luck to you... And me. All will be well! -

Today is the 1st day of my 2 week pre-op diet! I can't believe I have made it this far! With every bite of egg and meat I am going to tell myself how yummy the future is and not focus on what I can't eat. I purposing in my heart to not complain and to be thankful for my approval and that I am on a new journey..

I'm going in on the 24th. I start the pre-op diet on Tues. (This the honestly the part I am dreading.) My surgeon requires the Adkins diet. YUCK! But I can do anything for 2 weeks right? I am just so excited about being approved by my insurance that it really doesnt matter! Here's to a very happy new year to us all!
