  1. I had my lap band done in Nov 2006. At the time, I weight 250 lbs at 5'8". After one hassle after another with the insurance system and being told I didn't weigh enough- I decided to head to Mexico. The procedure was done my Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta. I steady lost weight until I got to be about 150 lbs. This summer I went through a very stressful personal time period and actually dropped to 133. I was not trying to lose weight and my husband and family were all over me- totally freaked out. The situation resolved itself and now I am experiencing the opposite. Not only did I gain back what I lost but I gained another 18 pounds. I rarely feel any restriction at all and I need to get back to basics I guess. Where do I start. I got so used to being thin and now I am so concerned.
