  1. You look wonderful!! Thank you for sharing. This is motivating!!
  2. I just completed week 1! I even ran in he rain. In the past, I can say this surely would have not happened!!
  3. Has anyone tried Tylenol pm? That seems to be the only thing that helps me. Other than that I'm up and if I do fall asleep I do not feel rested when I wake.
  4. Congrats on your surgery. I would start by walking and just increase your speed as you feel comfortable.

Good for you!!! That's a wonderful accomplishment.
  6. Hey y'all! I am not sure what has come over me but I am loving my gym time! I cant stand my back. The rolls must go. I travel so I am looking for some exercises I can work into my nightly situp/pushup routine.
  7. Heeeey! That's wonderful!! I just started this week. Hopefully we can inspire each other.
  8. Thank you!! I am soo excited. I slept great last night and I don't feel sore. I am treating myself to a Vtines day run again. Before I thought people were CRAZY when they said they loved running. I must admit, I felt good last night during my run.
  9. Woot woot!! I finished day 1! I know it may not seem like a big deal. But I tried to start C25k pre-op. I got horrible shin splints and I never got past day 3. I was walking at a speed of about 2.5 and jogging at 3.0. Weeeeellll, tonight I ran at a pace of 4.5/6 and walking at 4.0!! (insert banana man dancing) I don't feel any pain and even did some lunges and weights afterwards!! I have a goal of wearing this hot two piece I saw on Victoria Secrect.com for my 30th bday in September!!
  10. Hey there! Today makes 5 weeks post op. On Saturday, I tried to have grilled chicken and cheese. It gave me horrible heart burn. But since then I have the nausea feeling. Every time I try to eat, I get horrible chest pains followed by vomiting. I can't even do water or finish a Popsicle. I'm calling the doc but I wanted to know if any of you had this.
  11. Thank you Sleevie Wonderland!!! I am blushing
  12. I'm Riss1908 ! I would love more friends.
  13. So sorry that you are having a rough bday. My ex admitted that he cheated the night before surgery. Our anniversary was a week later.I would have turned to food too, but for good reason I could not. So, I put on a cute outfit and I went to MAC and got my makeup done! I did a few before shots for myself! Happy Birthday! I hope your day gets better!
  14. Hey BigToe! You may be on to something. I have realized that I did a lot of bored eating. I can't eat as much now, so I end up laying across the bed or just reading a book. I walk about 10 miles a week. Maybe once I need to find more things for me to do.
  15. I take the Opti-something. I take it once a day. It tastes like chalk. I want to find a new brand. What kind do you take?
  16. Hey now! I have noticed the last few days, I have zero energy. I am doing well with my Proteins and I go to bed pretty early. Has anyone else had this issue? I will be 1 month post op tomorrow! :biggrin2:
  17. Omg!!! I don't know why I'm sooo excited. But I am trying on some old pants and most are still struggling over my tush... But I put on a buttom up shirt and I don't have that dreadful gap around buttom 2!! Whoop hoo!!! *does a happy dance*
  18. Hey y'all!! I love reading the progress from Sleevers who had VSG around the same time as me. I had VSG on 12/28. I was 255 for my preop diet. 240 the day of surgery and 225 today. One of my employees told me that I looked different. He said he couldn't put his finger on it but I looked like my twin!!! That really made my day. I'm going to try on some old 16 pants today-- hope they fit! (:
  19. Hey ladies!! I am still early on in my journey. When I was in undergrad I had an amazing shape including a nice butt! In your experience, when you lose weight, does your butt/curves go too?
  20. Omg!! I want some mashed potatoes sooooooooo bad. But they are the devil. I lived off of anything with lots of cheese or potatoes and that's the reason I was 260lbs. :/ I am in recovery from my cheese addiction, so I better no tempt myself.
  21. Congrats on the 112lbs lost! I can't wait to shed those pounds. I will use your feed back.
  22. I am a new sleever (12/28). I have been walking in the morning. I am getting really excited b/c my hour walk route now takes me a little over 40mins! After my walk, I am sooo thirsty. I try to sip my water slowly when I get done but it's not enough. When I sneak a gulp- I pay for it. I am really not a fan of drinking and walking either. Does anyone else have this issue?
  23. Not really sure why?! But I got the grand idea to put a little lemon juice on my crab.. Yeah- that's going on the never ever list too!
