  3. YEAH, congrats!!! Keep up the great work!
  4. LIssa, I would wait and let things shift around since you are still losing (even if slowly prior to last month). You never know how things are going to shift. You can always go in for surgery but you can't always undo it. Wait until you're stable. Looks like you want to lose another 50lbs, will you get surgery again then? It can't hurt to wait. WCM
  5. You look fabulous, congratulations!
  6. Thanks all, I guess I don't feel so "off" now.
  7. Thanks all, I really appreciate it! I think my new NUT on board is going to be here at just the right time to help me determine what my personal numbers should be.
  8. Thanks, I am windcitymom on MFP. Yes, it is a wide range, when I focus and restrain myself I am around 800/900 cal. I just feel I should be lower being only 5 months out. Iam eating alot of cheese now that I am sick of eggs. I like turkey deli meat but also do alot of Protein drinks. I just bought the dummy cookbook and can't wait to dive in
  9. Hello, I am only 5 months post op and eat roughly 900-1600 calories/day. I can certainly contribute a few days to grazing but not most of the time. I can just eat more. I am 13 pounds from goal and worry that my sleeve was not tight enough. I am working out regularly and seeing a social worker to work on my emotional eating/stress management. I've added a dietician to my team and will meet her this week. I am curious to know. How far out are you and how many calories are you eating in a day? Thanks! BTW, no it's not ice cream although I do enjoy Shelley's Protein ice cream once or twice a month. I don't eat bread. My worry is the long term success, if I can eat this many calories now, what will it be like in a year?
  10. So excited - I am 5 months post op and whenever I press the preset for my car seat the position that it goes to is too far from the steering wheel. I need to push the seat up much closer now
  11. Lasagna cupcakes are awesome in wonton wrappers. Kids love em too. Its a nice way to get the pasta part of the Lasagna too.
  12. Thanks all for weighing in. Your insights are very helpful!
  13. Thank you Lissa for inspiring us all. Enjoy your phone and thank you Alex for rewarding her gifts to each of us.
  14. All, I'm 5 months post op and reading about others getting horny. I don't get it. I have no sex drive at all. My husband is wonderful and has been a rock for me and my family. He is the best partner, father and emotional support a gal could ask for. I find him to be adorable and handsome and sexy much of the time but have no energy or desire to do anything about it. We both have always led very stressful lives which may be the cause however I was hoping to feel the sexy horny thing but it's not happenin. Anyone else had this?
  15. I had surgery in Mexico about 4.5 months ago. I am headed back in August for my upper giant blood work to make sure all is going well. Also, my pcp here in the states knows that I had surgery in Mexico so he has been terribly supportive. I went to him to ask questions about 1 month out and he was helpful coupled with emailing my surgeon with regular updates. I take thyroid medication, so I've been going in for my blood work to determine my new dosage ages since losing 45 pounds, but that's about it. I have really had no major needs or problems. I look forward to hearing from others. Great question!
  16. I'm in the city. Traveled to mexico for surgery though. Best of luck to you!
