  1. My New Fitbit!

So, I got a Fitbit Ultra last Friday and having been using it very faithfully ever since. I really like how easy it is to use and all of its little features. It has really been a motivator for me. I like watching the numbers climb on the pedometer portion and I really like when my calories are in the green zone!

Ok, that being said. I was really hoping that paying atention to what I ate and how I moved that much more than I already do would have made a difference on the scale! Nope. I was really really really hoping to be below 270 by now!!!! So very frustrating.
  2. 45 lbs

I got my third fill on Wednesday. I am now up to 8cc in an 11 cc band. That one extra cc has really made me feel a difference. I have lost five pounds in four days. I really thought that 45 pounds would look and feel so much better than it does. But I think the most irksome thing is that it seems people don't notice I've lost anything. I'm guessing that some do and just don't say anything but after sooooo many years of hearing negative from people I was really looking forward to some positive feedback.

    105 pounds to go.
  3. Small Victories

What an awesome couple of days I have had! First< i cut about 5 inches off of my hair and got some nice light blonde highlights. I think it has really changed my face and has given me a boost. Second, I am down another few pounds to make 27lbs lost! And my biggest achievement is that I finally went to Old Navy for some new jeans. I went in and grabbed the biggest size they carry, a 20. In Lane Bryant I had been a 22/24 so I was a little nervous about the 20's but I tried them on anyway. They Fit!! Plus I got some really cute tops to make some nice new summer outfits. Well I get home and put the pants on and notice they are a little loose! I can pull them off without unbuttoning them. Holy Cow. The thought never entered my head to try on an 18 but that is what I need now.

Such a different mind set this is. I used to be so happy when something fit I never would have thought about going smaller. Another added bonus is that Lane Bryant can be pricey and all of my stuff from Old Navy was wayyyyy cheaper! So, new hair and new smaller clothes to go with the new me. Yeah, I could get used to this.
  4. Stressing Out

My surgery date is April 6th. I have lost 5lbs on my pre op diet but I have had some slip ups. I am worried about so many things right now. Two biggies are, if I can't handle the pre op diet am I really gonna be ok with this life change and the biggest is.... am I going to make it through surgery ok? It is surgery and things go wrong. I will feel so much better when surgery is over.
  5. First Fill

I got my first fill today! He put 5cc in an 11cc band so I am curious as to how much difference this will make for me. I am hoping to now start making some serious headway and start losing a good amount. Very excited. 20 lost already but looking for a few big weeks to really pump me up.
  6. Yay For Me!

Well, I joined lose it! And have started to track my calories and protein. It is a very good app/website so far. Easy to use and has a lot to it. I am hoping this helps me succeed! And I also went to the gym today! And kicked butt if I do say so myself! I jogged on the treadmill for the first time ever!!!
