I'd get someone else. I never had to fill out no question sheet. My therapist sat me down and asked about my expectations, about my depression, about my life, etc. she asked all the questions that my surgeon wanted to know.

Im a stay at home mom of one. My husband is an over the road truck driver so we only see him 2-3 times a month. I have surgery scheduled for Friday August 3rd. Surgery is scary but it's definitely worth it. You will do just great

Where I am having my gastric bypass surgery done they actually test your blood for the nicotine. It all depends on your surgeon and everything. They test everyone on the day of surgery to make sure that you have no nicotine in your system.

I wish I had some good advice for you but I don't really have much advice lol I start my pre-op diet this Friday July 20th but mine's not an all liquid diet. I can have yogurt, cottage cheese, 3oz portion size of lean meats. I just wanted to say good luck on your pre-op diet and on surgery

You have to do a bowel prep? My surgery is Friday August 3rd and I don't have to do a bowel prep. I've heard that the stuff is nasty lol good luck on your surgery tomorrow

Oh no I'm sorry my husband supports me 100% and that has helped me so far. You have all of us here that will support u support is very big especially to make this surgery work for u. I hope he starts supporting u soon.

Well I have 4 tattoos already including a tramp stamp that I got when I was 18 but I plan on getting a tattoo on each hip

Welcome my surgery is August 3rd...I've been told that instead of puréeing ur food, just go out and buy baby food (which is what I intend to do lol) but basically everything can be puréed

I live in East Dorset, VT but I went to college near Syracuse NY lol I have a friend that lives out that way

It is based on what your insurance wants u to do. I had to do a whole bunch of blood work, sleep apnea test, 6 months supervised nutritionist appointments. 2 psychological evaluations, then meet with the nurse practitioner and dietician where I'm having my gastric bypass and they submitted the claim to my insurance and I got approved Tuesday and tomorrow (my dad's bday) I go for my final appointment which is the pre-op diet appointment and I have more blood work done plus possibly a EKG then on July 25th I have a pre-op physical with my PCP THEN FINALLY surgery Friday August 3rd lol which happens to be my Aunt's birthday

I update every Monday I try to make them quick but never end up quick lol I hope you enjoy them. I started my journey with wanting lap band surgery but then changed my mind last month I believe it was lol

Welcome I know how it feels to all of a sudden change course lol I was going for the lap band but where I'm going (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH and I live in Vermont lol) they no longer do the lap band so it was either gastric bypass or the sleeve. Well my insurance doesn't cover the sleeve so I'm now going for gastric bypass. I got my approval Tuesday and I'm scheduled for surgery for Friday August 3rd

Being able to run after my daughter and keep up to her and not have to hear the kids in her class make fun of her because she had a fat mom

Oh I'm glad I don't have to do that lol even tho after surgery will be a huge wake up call with nothing but all Clear liquids lol I just hope my 4 1/2 year old daughter starts to understand that for awhile mommy won't be able to eat the same things that she can since she always loves to share her food with me lol
