Struggling
Vitamins are a must. If I miss a day or 2, my energy is zapped. So I can't imagine 5 weeks without them. You really need to find one you can choke down. I know its hard, I was back in the hospital for 6 days with c diff at 3 weeks post op and I wasn't able to take them for a week. It was no fun. I am just now getting my energy back...4 weeks later. Good luck to you.

Anyone had the tummy bug with just diarrhea? I am so weak and it seems to be taking me longer to get over this being post op...it is passing thru my whole family:/- Ready To Ditch The Chewables
I was told to crush my pills for 2 months, and take chewables vitamins. But apparently all surgeons are so different so I don't know what to tell ya:) after reading all these comments the past couple days, I started just cutting my pills in half and taking them that way and continuing my chewable vitamins. The 3 pills I have are so small though. And the other 2 that are capsules, I am still opening those up and just swallowing the powder. I just couldn't crush those other 3 anymore, It was making my pouch hurt so bad.- Nuts...
When did you all start eating nuts..and what kind did you start with? Or does it matter what to start with?- Ready To Ditch The Chewables
I have no problem with the chewables Vitamins, they are good. My problem is some of my other medications that I'm crushing...gag me.- Surgery 1 Day Away And I'm Buggn Out!
I hope your nerves are better for your big day coming up today. You have been given some good advice. Thinking about you and hope everything goes well!- What They Dont Tell You
The first 24 hours are rough, no joke. But for me once I got of the morphine pump and onto the liquid pain meds, it went so much better. The key is to walk as much as you can. Especially right after surgery, as soon as they will let you up, take it slow and walk walk walk. And do the same when you get home along with making sure you sip on your water all day long, getting in as much as you possibly can! What kind of job do you have? I guess it depends on that...- Ready To Ditch The Chewables
I am supposed to be on chewables for 2 months. - Tummy Bug:(
