  1. Happy 20th Birthday Jeongbu!

  2. I'm so happy for you, Sandy!!! Congratulations on your surgery and sorry that I couldn't get on sooner! So happy for youuuu!!!
  3. Hi! So, I have Tufts Health Plan and I'm in the six month iCanChangeProgram so that I can get my lapband surgery... but. (I had my first call today, with my health coach.) I'm confused as to... what the real steps are! I mean, I haven't scheduled a surgery or anything. I'm only nineteen years old and I don't know what the steps are, exactly. I only know about the program so that I can be covered. Do I have to schedule my own surgery? Or, does the insurance do it for me? Or, does my primary care doctor do it? I hope I don't seem too stupid. I'm just confused.

Hey From Vermont :) I'm New

I wish you luck on the interview and the insurance thing! Do you HAVE to take the insurance from the job?

First Call, "hello, This Is Heaven."

Oh, yes. I've decided about it and I'm in a program and stuff like that. <3 Sequoia, woop-woop!
  6. Hello, bloggers! I'm a happy, energetic and fluffy college student! I've always been big, like... big as in... I was around 192 lbs in sixth grade. I mean, I guess I looked decent since I was 5'6. I still am 5'6. I'm a tree! I just need to slim up that way. I've been researching about lapband surgery since I was about seventeen years old and I immediantly became interested in it.
  7. Dang. That's a set back. I hope the best for both of you.
  8. There are these shakes too... Protein shakes for pre-op patients. They're supposed to be really filling... but~! They are a bit pricey. http://www.amazon.com/Bariatric-Advantage-Replacement-Powder-servings/dp/B004WQNLH2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I3TN7W82R9FMI&colid=9SY9QM24SQ2H Here is a video review, as well! I hope this helps.

Hey From Vermont :) I'm New

Oooh! I do that all the time too. My scale is my friend/enemy. Frenemy. I'm also a full time student and I'm trying to find a job so I can pay off financial aid and stuff like that. You're so close! YOU CAN DO IT! Hehehe. Seven pounds is amazing! Slow and steady, wins the race. As for... my next steps. I have no idea. I think my health coach will help me tomorrow and clear my mind. I have a notebook and a few pens to take down notes. I'm so excited to start with this! My insurance even gives me discounts at gyms.

Hey From Vermont :) I'm New

I've only told a few close friends and my family... but my closest friend is against bariactric surgery. I think it's a great tool for life... especially for someone like me, who has fluxiating hormones and fluxiating weight, all the time. As for my journey... it's weird. I've been trying to contact my health coach and she hasn't contacted me back just yet. I'm getting extremely anxious.--- You know, what's funny. I JUST GOT THE CALL, as I was typing. LOL. My enrollment in the program is tomorrow at 1:00 PM, so excited! How about you?
  11. Oh my! o.o That's a good deal. All the fills you need?
