  1. The surgery went great! I went at 630 am left 8-9am I went home to bed picked up pain Meds and nausea Meds on way home. I had ice packs Hp, gas x strips, protein drinks, soups ect. Prestocked. I had light pain on my left side( port side for me) so laid on right side with HP on left back area and ice pack as needed on front. I did take pain med every 4 hrs not the 6 hrs on btl. I wanted to stay on top of so too 1/2 doses not recommended! 3 day I was up and around feeling good. I had foot surgery on 30th.
  2. Yes I had surgery on Dec. 22 I only took for one month and didn't have any side effects. The say take for 3 months but I had cut down to 6 cogs a day.

  6. I smoked. Quite 3 yrs bows. I started carrying a small case with cigs in it and every week cut down how many I had per day then I got chantex from Dr this helped cut the withdrawals.
  7. Just started eating reg food I eat what ever I want protein being prioritie. I haven't had a fill yet ? I make sure I chew well and follow the 1/2. Cup per meal amt. To maintain pouch.
  8. Yes at time I took gasx strips as I was told most likely gas pain. The pain stopped after gasx
  9. Just a guess don't knw your ht. 240ish? Insurance is going to want 3 -5 yrs Dr notes with wt listed. I had to get 5 yrs.
  10. Has anyone on here been banded over 5 yrs if so how are you doing? Any problems ?
  11. Surgery Dec.22 I started wearing 1 week out but It still is uncomfortable at times so I wear looser bands.
  12. My Dr said to only eat 1/4-1/2 most at a time to form and shape the pouch.
  13. I had bcbs Dec. 22 surgery. I had my surgery at surgery center of woodlands with Dr Jason ballette. No hospital was required.

  22. I also drink protein shakes. I haven't had any appetite since surgery and I have to keep track of food intake to make sure I eat enough each day. 69-80 grams protein a day
