  1. Wow you are doing great. Congrats!
  2. December 14th and I am down 32 pounds and down about 2 sizes! YAY!
  3. Sf pudding is part of the full liquid stage.
  4. Wow you are amazing! From a 20 to a 2? Congaratulations!
  5. You look fabulous! What a nice friend to take the time to do that for you! Awesome!
  6. I can have peanut butter now, but was shocked when I read the jar to see all the sodium! Does anyone uhave suggestions for any that taste decent but are less sodium? If it tastes really bad, I would rather not even have it!
  7. I just looked thi up on Amazon. Do they smash your boobs? Are they tight enough in the abdomen to suck it in? You still wear a bra right?
  8. I agree that you should try room temp liquids or warm broth. Also your doctor should be able to give you an anti-nausea pill to take each morning as well as a pill to prevent acid. I found that ice cold liquids made me burp very bad and couldhardly get them done until I started leaving the ice out.
  9. Thanks so much. They both worked!
  10. Thanks. I will try that now!
  11. Went out to eat for the first time Firiday night. Met friends at a new Mexican rstaurant. I ordered huevos rancheros. It was HUGE! Was three layers of crisp tortilla, with two eggs and black Beans and cheese.I wasn't sure about the crispy tortillas ( since i didn't eat any chips)' so I just started at one side at forked off small forkfuls and ate slowly. Couldn't eat very much at all, but what I did eat was all protein! The main thing that was hardest for me eating out, was everyone was drinking coke or iced tea while waiting for the food, and I couldn't. That 1/2 hour both ways thing is still very hard for me to deal with! The next time I will probably try an appetiser, but they didn't really have any here that I thought I could have. I probably will eat off my hubby's plate.
  12. I was thinking the same thing. My sleeve is not a chicken fan I am finding out, and I was a chicken fanatic before. Now I find that it tastes really stringy or something, and don't want it. As far as tuna, I have been eating the little StarKist 3 1/2 oz. pouches of ready made albacore (already mixed with mayo and very tiny diced celery you can barely see and it is great! I could eat them all the time. haven't tried red meat yet. I had 2 oz. of a pork chop last night and it was great but very tender cuz I grilled it. But i knowed I inhaled my food before so I probably never ate slow enough to taste it anyway, LOL!
  13. Megan you look awesome! Keep up the good work. Your face even looks so much younger. Can't wait til I get to 50 lbs! I am down 32, YAY for the sleeve!
  14. I am on 8 oz. portions of regular food, but find I cannot eat that much. last night I ate 2 oz. of a 4 oz. pork chop, about 1 oz. of baked beans, and about 2 oz. of acorn squash. i just can't get in the 8 oz. yet. elieve me you will know your restrictions when you get back to regularfood. When I was on a liquid or pureed stage, I didn't really feel full, but I would start to burp, so I knew that was enough.
  15. I was a diet Pepsi fanatic, and my doctor kept saying how full of chemicals and how unhealthy it is and everything, so I stopped drinking it cold turkey around beginning of November. ( my surgery was Dec. 14th). My docotr said it would not stretch your sleeve, he said it would cause may cause discomfort from too much gas from the carbonation. I have no desire to go back to it now and no longer have the nightly headaches that supposedly were sinus headaches that I had for years! Although since my surgery I cannot stand the taste of plain water so I have to have it with crystal Light Fruit punch flavor. I don't even like the lemonade or pink lemonade flavors since surgery. My taste buds have changed sooo much since surgery! has anyone else's tastebuds changed drastically?
  16. I threw away my Flexees and Spanx and will never look at any again! YAY!
  17. Lissa, It looks cute on you! I agree all you need is a lightweight tank or cami. congrats on your progress. I always enjoy reading your posts. You are an inspirtion to me! Janet
  18. I have a couple questions about myfitmesspal that I can't figure out. First, is there a way to add something to you diary with number of calories rather than selecting, for example, one banana, if you only have 1/2 banana, or if you only have 2 oz. of smething instead of defaulting to a selection of 4 oz? And second, is there a way to set your calorie goal for the day yourself? Mine defaults to 1,340 per day and I can't find how to set it lower. Otherwise I love the site. It makes it so easy to keep track! Thanks in advance if you can help me!
  19. I take the Bariatric Advantage chewable in the Passion Fruit flavor ( howver doesn't taste like passion fruit, more of a berry, but it tastes really good and no iron aftertaste?
  20. You will do fine! Just do what your dctor says! Congrats!
  21. No I will have to get that one next time! I love it with everything! Even a poached egg with a piece of ham lunchmeat for breakfast. I found some Oroweat MINI sandwich thins yesterday in whole wheat, for 50 cal. Each, but have no desire to try them yet since I love the Wasa so much! Not sure if I can have peanut butter yet. Will have to check Thursday with my dietician? Love peanut butter though!
  22. I am interested in doing water aerobics. Do you find it beneficial?
  23. I started the treadmill too at 30 minutes at 2.5 mph and have gradually gone up to 3.5 mph. My doctor told me to stay at 30 minutes until 8 weeks which will be in two weeks. Also about the water thing, I found when I took too big of gulps that I burped big time! I am wanting to find a water aerobics class too!
