I am 43 years old. I have been on diets my entire life. I was married and kept making excuses why I wouldnt get lap band. The biggest of which I was scared how it would affect my husband. He ended up wanting a divorce and I was sitting there one day and just said to myself what the heck am I waiting for. I called that day got an appt. My insurance company requires that I loose 10% as a good faith that I am willing to do this. I am currently working towards that goal now. i have 26 lbs left to go.
