Just got home. Back in the mid 70's my Mom had a Masectomy. Five years later she had cancer on the other side. Years later my Grandmother had a masectomy and a few years later my sister had one. My other grandmother also had one. So, as you can see my younger sister and I are waiting our time. Last year my older sis had a mammo done and the radiologist said that he felt that there was cuase for concern so off to the onocologist we go. Nope he said that it was dead bone form the radiation. That was our second opinion on it. Now a year later she had another MRI done and a bone scan and a few other things and once again the radiologist felt that there was cuase for concern. Well each time he does that she goes into wacky mode and drives me absolutely crazy. So I took her to go see the onocolgist last week and he wanted the orthopedic-onocologist to see her. That is where I took her this morning. He said after looking at all of the scans and reports that she doesn't have cancer and her doesn't even think that it is dead bone. He fells that it is due to a genetic clotting diesease that she has. He ordered one more x-ray and said that he will talk to her regular onocologist and get back with her in a few weeks. He was pretty thorough and explained everything to us very well. All looks good and she can relax now. Back to my life now or at least for a day or two till she coes up with something else. I have 2 turkey breast defrosting in my fridge. There will be hubby and me, younger sis and her hub. Older sis and one of her sons. I'm not making a whole lot of stuff as we all don't need to be eating like that. But I will be making all the good stuff that we do like. I did get a few batches of cookies made last night and also a pan of fudge. Yikes. Pam, I love you long post also. We will miss you while you are gone. Take care. I missed DTWS last night and for some reason my TiVo didn't record it. I'm so sad. I'm gonna take it easy for awhile and than head into work later. Guess I'll fix me a salad for lunch. Good Morning Girls. Up early today because I have to take my older sis in for a biopsy. She's a nervous wreck right now and driving me crazy. Like I don't have far to go. I went to a funeral yesterday for a 20 month old little boy. I was not prepared for that sight. My heart tore right in half when I saw that little boy just laying there. My heart goes out to both of the parents. I can not even imagine having to say good bye let alone bury your child. They had tha fire trucks there and they lead the procession. Pam, Thanks for the long post. I know you have alot going on right now but make sure you don't neglect yourself. Don't forget that we will all be with you in spirit. Hugs to you girl. Good Morning Girls. I'm pooped from all that shopping yesterday. Off to work and than I need to take my sister grocery shopping. Later today I'm going to try to make it to a funeral. There is a lady that comes into work that has a grandson with Tay Sachs. I've been to several fundraisers for him. Anyway, last friday he passed away. He was only 20 months old. I also know his Mom, she used to come in to workout till the medical bills started to mount up. I just can't imagine have a child and than watching it die. That has to be horrible. I got my shopping done for my SS today. I just need to finish up what I am making and than into the mail it goes. Huge News for a good laugh. I had to drive by 3 Dairy Queens on my way home and I didn't even stop at one of them. LOL.

I got home about 30 minutes ago and I texted Jane, but I haven't heard back from her yet. I'll wait just a little longer and than I'll call her. I don't want to bother her while she is driving. TracyK, Way-To-Go on the walking. Terry, Glad you made it to the bark park. Good News, Janie just texted me. She's home and safe.

It's warming up here. It's now 49 degrees. Still a little breezy. Heading off to church. I'll be back around 5pm. A lite dinner and than off to bed. Driving to Columbia tomorrow to meet up with Jane. I'll check in later.

OMG, I just got a "Flying Monkey" in the mail. Hubby won't quit playing with it. The cats are totally scared of it. Thanks for the good laugh Tracy.

Let her help you. Remember that all of us are sitting on your shoulder whispering in your ear that we care very deeply for you and that you are not walking alone. Denise. I'm sorry for your situation but do always keep in mind that you will soon be having a new little one to give all your love too. I'll keep all of you in my prayers and pray that this little child will be her salvation and she will straighten up. Not to busy today. They are going to be delivering our firewood soon. Yesterday I started my day at 3:30am. I opened the north store at 6am and left there at 8am. Stopped by Sonic and got a route 44 iced tea with lemon and went and started work at the south store. 8:30 to noon. Went home and read mail and ate a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and pineapple. Took a shower and got dressed to go to our shift at the hospital. But first I had an appointment with the Kidney Doctor at 2:30. Left there and went and worked at the hospital till 8pm. I was extremely tired last night. Wiped out. Kat and Denise, Thank you for the touching words of encoragement. It brought a tear to my eyes, knowing that people do care. I need all the help I can get as this is a lot harder than just having surgery. It's that we have had to learn a whole new life style and those days of old are gone. No more eating the bag of doritos. No more big bowls of ice cream. I know I can still have those things, just in moderation. I will never deprive myself but I'm not going to gorge myself again. Although sometimes I feel like I push the limit with my band sometimes. My younger sis and I are going shopping for most of our Thanksgiving food today. I have a few hours before I have to go into work, so I'm taking this time to get some things ready. Everyone have a great day and HUGS to all of you.

Home from my evening shift. I'll have a super busy day tomorrow. So I'm going to go to bed right after DWTS. The girl that works the second shift the rest of the week called this evening. Sunday night as her husband was leaving work, someone beat the crap out of him and he's in bad shape. They didn't rob him because he still had his wallet on him. He had gashes all over his head and both hands were broke. They did surgery and put pins in his hands. She said that it looked like they tied his hands behind his back because he had red marks around his wrist. He's still unconcius (sp?0). I told her I would take her shifts for her and not to worry about work. She's going to have her hands full. Police still don't know anything yet. Not sure what is going on with the tummy today. I have not eaten very much and really don't feel like having dinner. I had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. A half a grilled cheese and a bowl of soup. And a handful of peanuts for a snack. Just don't feel like having anything. Have a great evening. Bye.

Hubby and I just got back from taking doggie on a walk. We went 1 1/4 around the neighborhood. It's really bitter with the wind blowing so it kept the sweating down. 34 degrees with a wind chill. Feeling a little bit better today. Had a long talk with Hubby and told him what Doc had said. I'm now just waiting on some phone calls. I'll write it all out and send a message to you all. Give me a few days though. I'm still working some stuff out in my head. By Golly, I'll get those scales to move again. Jane, If you leave at 9:00, I'll wait till 9:30. I'm sure my foot is a little heavier than yours. I got a coupon in the mail today for Bath & Body Works to get a free gift. It's good for Nov. 24 - Dec 24. Do you think they might let me use it on the 23rd.? I'll bring it, if they don't I'll just let you keep it. I don't really go near there very often. I can't wait to see the cross stitch. I'm looking forward to starting it also. I just thought it was to pretty. Looking forward to seeing you Sunday. TracyKS, Are you sure you and Robby can't ride with me??? Good Morning. Last night I posted and than I could not get back on. I tried for about an hour and than went to bed.

Home from a very long day and I'm pooped. Doc appointment didn't go to well. Ok, good news is that I didn't gain any. Bad news is that I didn't lose any either. We had a good long talk about what is going on. He has so much faith in me. I'll PM you guys and let you know what we talked about. Hope it does me some good. Than I went and met my friend and we sat at the restuarant for about 4 1/2 hours. They were so nice to let us sit and talk all that time. We enjoyed a really good evening and can't wait till next month. I just took a Benadryl and am headed to bed. Sleep tight and I'll chat with you tomorrow. Hugs.

Looks like I need to go spend the day with Jane and give her a crash course on computer stuff. LOL Up and getting ready to start my long day. I go into work, leave there and go pick Sis up and take her to a Doc appointment. Than take her to the store. Take her home and than I leave to go to KS to my Doc visit. No fill for me today, just need to quit putting things into the abyss. Than over to my friend that lives a few miles from the Doc's office. I'll get home around 7pm tonight. Terri and Jane, The other night I was watching Ugly Betty and Wilemina was wearing a pair of earrings just like the pair Jane got from Terri.

I just checked another website and it said I burned 522 calories. I like this website better.

Crap, I just spent 45 minutes mowing the yard and came in here and looked up how many calories I burned. 175 calories. That sucks big time. Oh well. I feel better anyway. And most important, the yard looks good. I also put some hamburgers and suasages and hot dogs on the grill. They smell so good right now. Sun is shining and it's 57 degrees out so thought I would do it. Jane. I pay $40 for a haircut alone. Haircut and highlights is $80. I may start driving to you and let you do my hair and save a few bucks. LOL. Kat, I invited my Sis over for Thanksgiving and she is bringing the green bean casserole(easy for her to do). My other sis and her hubby will be here. 5 in all. I didn't invite the kids because the last few years I have and I did alot of cooking and when they came over no one ate. They all claimed they had to eat over at someone else's. So this year I am not asking them over to eat, they can come over to visit though. If they are hungry they can snack here. I need to go burn some more calories. Talk to you later.
