I got a Christmas card today and swore it came from Terri till I opened it and saw that it was signed by TracyK. Those puppies on front were so cute and Terri's name popped in my head. Surprise. LOL.

Good Morning Girls I worked like a dog all weekend sewing and my poor finger tips are so sore, but good news. I'm all done. I just need to see about getting it framed. I'm taking off after work and going to see what I can find and hopefully finish up my SS shopping. Jane, hope your test go well today.Good Luck. Jenn, hope your hanging in there. Terri, I took doggie for a walk yesterday and had to pick him up several times just to keep him out of fights. There are several pitt bulls around here and they scare me. Not for myself but what they could do to a chihuahua. Judy, I'm so glad you like your new journal. I had thought about writing a ittle something in it, I guess I should have. Holy Cow, have any of you ever had a margarita from "Texas Road House"? Good Lord above, I had 2 and that was way over my limit. They were so good though. I really wanted another one but knew that they would have to back the truck up to the door to get me out of there. They were the best tasting I have ever had. Willie Nelson knows how to take car of his friends, LOL. You should see all the food we brought home. We will be eating for 2 days. Jenn, Sorry to hear about your ordeal at the Doc's. I've been out of scholol for over thirty years, I have no children that have used the school system, so can someone please tell me how come my taxes are almost 3 thousand dollars? Why do we have to keep paying for a school that we don't use and will never use. Our taxes used to be paid thru our mortgage but we paid our house off last year and now it is up to us to pay them. I need to set up a monthly account thru the bank to do this. Thank you for all the Congrats. We've had a great day so far. Here pretty soon we are going to go to "Texas RoadHouse" for dinner. I think I see a margarita in my future. Any news on Jenn yet?

I'm up and that's about it. I'll get moving here soon. Today is our monthly family breakfast so I need to go get my shower and get my butt moving. Huge day ahead of me. Hubby and I are celebrating our 26th. wedding anniversary. We'll be scrounging around to get all of our tax money together so we can pay them. I hate that we have to do this in December. Than we will be going to an early dinner because my Women's Ministry meeting is tonight and it's our Christmas party. Jane, WTG on the 2 pounds. That's great. Good Morning, I woke up early on my own but the alarm was set to get me up anyway. Sis has a doc appointment and than I will take her to the grocery store. When I get home it's a quick nap and than work later this evening. Other than that not much going on around here. Jenn, My living room is painted white. I than can change my color scheme anytime I want to. Pillows, candles, throw blankets, knick-knacks etc. etc. Good luck at the docs today and keep us posted. Everyone have a great daya nd don't forget it's CTCD.

Hey Judy, I forgot to tell you that I made your Turkey soup yesterday and it was a huge hit with the family. The house smelt so good.

Welcome Home Pam. We missed you tons. I think I need to go spend a weekend at Haydee's. Sounds like they know how to party. Sorry to hear about your Mom's little mishap. Maybe she'll learn to stay off those things now. It's times like right now that I'm mad that I didn't let hubby put a fire in the fireplace. Just got home from walking doggie and I need to thaw out. Looks like I'll have to turn my lap blanket on and cover up.

I made another batch of fudge and a batch of peanut butter fudge and some peppermint bark. Hope the family likes all of it. Welcome back Haydee. I never leave the house unless it's clean. I hate coming home and having to work. Judy, loved the pics. That is so sad about the tree. I guess I can't complain about my little 1/2 inch that we got, but it sure was pretty while it lasted. Think I'll take doggie for a little walk. It's 33 degrees and the wind has died down alittle. Have a great evening.

Hello Everyone. Just finished putting all my Autumn decorations away. Hubby wanted to bring up the Christams decorations and I told him "No". I'll wait at least another week before I put anything up. I did make some peanut butter fudge and some pepperment bark today. Thursday is our family breakfast and I thought I would make some goodies for everyone. Judy, I mailed some money to you today for the flowers. They said it should be there in 3-5 days. Look for a big manilla envelope. We got about an inch of snow here yesterday and today most of it is gone. Sun is shining but it is bitterly cold. Those windchills are freezing me out. Today I never even went near a scale. I am going to try real hard to stay away from one for a little while. Now that I'm over this holiday and all the extra food is gone. I'm gonna give it a good try. I have about 5 weeks till my next appointment and I need to start now.

Up and going to get ready for work. I just have a 4 hour shift, so that's ok. The only shopping I did yesterday was Sis and I went to Burlington Coat Factory. What a waste of time, not to mention the batrooms were horrible. yuck. Yesterday, Sis came up and said that the furnace was not turning on. We went and checked it and the fan was coming on but the woosh from the flames was not happening. I ended up having to call the Heatind and Air Company. They showed up about 30 minutes later and the guy looked like he had just graduated from High School. Anyway he got it working and said he felt like a real heal having to charge us. It just needed a pipe cleaner to clean out the little wholes for the gas to come out and the flames to ignite. $195.00 for that. Good thing it didn't happen the day before. It probably would have been double. So the guys hould hubby how to do it the next time incase it happens again. Everyone have a great day and try to get back on track.

Good Morning Shoppers. Not me. I chose to stay home and warm this morning. I will however be getting out here soon. Going with younger sis to go get her hubbies work check and than to Hobby Lobby. Other than that I declared yesterday that today I was "Off Duty". They are on their own. I did ok at dinner time yesterday, it was the snacking beforehand that got a little out of control. I did go for a huge walk in the morning and ended up going again in the evening. Jenn, becareful of that gallbladder. I've had those attacks and they do hurt alot. Take good care of yourself. Congrats, TracyK and to TracyKS for finding the boys all behaved. I got 4 pans of enchilada's amde and now just need to get ready to head to the hospital. I also got the turkey cleaned and dressed and in the refridge till tomorrow morning. I did a few other things also. I think I'm all ready. Have a great evening. Hugs.

Good Morning. Up and need to go dry my hair and get dressed. I work form 6-8am and than off till Saturday. When I get home I need to make 2 pans of enchilada's. One for home and one to take to the hospital tonight. I'm treating the girls we work with for Thanksgiving. I got into the fudge last night. So today I'm not going near it or the cookies. I've actually been doing really good with my eating and don't need to get myself back off track. It turns out I will be doing all the cooking for tomorrow. All of a sudden everyone has come down with some ailment. A bad back, sore shoulder etc. etc. Looks like I'll get all of the clean up also. I told Hubby that next year we are going away for Thanksgiving. Just the 2 of us. Well, at least I have Friday off and can get a little rest in for the day. I still need to get my SS's gift finished. Hope I can do it by Sunday. Everyone have a great day and enjoy the beginning of the Holiday.
