A day at the Fair.

Morning Girls. We got home around midnight and went straight to bed. It was a long day.We had a blast, just the two of us. It was nice for a change. Anyway, the concert started at 7:30 and was over with at 10:30. It was so much fun. We had a group of good people around us. As I was walking around the Fair grounds one thing kept coming to my mind. I'm so glad I'm not the sideshow attraction anymore. One more reason to love my band. Now, hopefully for some swim time today, if the pool will heat up enough.

Morning Girls. Another absolutely beautiful day here again today and I'm really glad. We are headed to the State Fair in a couple of hours. It's only supposed to get up to 79 degrees so that will make it a real nice time for us. And yes, I'm going to share a funnel cake with hubby. I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. It seems like there is a lot of struggling going on and I'm praying that God will show the way and make it a smooth path for all. Hugs to all.

Morning. Up and getting ready to take my nephew to court. He goes before the judge today about his ticket. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we did our homework and he is all ready. Than it's come home and change clothes and go finish cutting grass at the church. Should only take us about 4 hours. We have the weather on our side. It's only supposed to get up to 79 today. I'm one happy girl. Everyone have a great day. Mkae wise choices and drink your water.

The weather here is beautiful and the report is that we won't see 90 degrees till next Tuesday. I wish I could share this with all of you. What a great day to be outside. Speaking of being outside. Hubby and I just got back from cutting grass at the church. We'll head back there tomorrow to finish cutting. With all the rain we have gotten in the last week the grass is overgrown. Great exercise. Not sure what to fix for dinner, might just fix me a bowl of oatmeal and fix the hubby a sandwich.

It's 75 degrees here right now and absolutely beautiful out. Just like a spring day. Hubby and I are off to go cut grass at the church.

Good morning. Up and at it. I have to take my Sis to her Doc appointment and than grocery shopping. It's only supposed to get to 80 degrees today. We had a storm go thru last night and it brought a cold front with it. So the low 80's for the next 4-5 days and nothing but sunshine. I'm very happy about this since we are going to the State Fair this weekend and seeing Brooks and Dunn. I'm ready. I haven't gotten on the scale yet this morning. I need to go do this. Keeping my fingers crossed. I've been working real hard on this the last few days. Keeping my mind busy on other stuff besides food. Realizing that just becasue I want to eat doesn't mean I need to eat. Huge difference there. It's CTCD, so everyone try real hard. Have a good one.

Laura, How did your appointment with the fill Doc go today? I called AT&T around noon to report some problems we were having with our phone and they attempted to fix it thru the line but eventually decided they had to send some one out. So around 3pm here he comes. Turns out he had to redo all of the phone lines and all of the u-verse lines. And he also installed all new u-verse boxes and DVR. He was a real delightful guy and turns out he knows my cousin real well from AT&T. He also noticed that the other guy had not hook my TV up to HD. Heck, I didn't even know my tv had HD. WOW, it's amazing to watch tv now. So, needless to say, we didn't make it to the hospital tonight. We stayed home and actually watched tv while it is storming out. We can do that know with fiber-optic. No more worrying about loosing tv when it rains or snows. Off to bed, see ya all in the morning.

Michelle, I'm just an eater. It doesn't matter the situation, I eat. But I have noticed lately with all the stress that I have caught myself standing in the kitchen with the cupboards open looking for anything I can just snack on. Right now my will power is knowing that I have a weigh-in in 2 weeks. I guess just knowing that I don't want to disappoint my Doc, keeps me focused. Hang in there. You'll figure it out. But you do need to put yourself first, I'm finding that out dealing with an addict in my house. Keep your chin up.

Michelle, Keeping all of you in my prayers. Stay strong. Jane, I get up at 4:30 to start to get ready for work. I have to be there and up and running by 6am. Otherwise I would still be snoring in bed. Think I'll take a quick nap before I head into the hospital to work.

Wednesday morning and I'm up again, dragging my fanny but not too bad. I have a little bit of running around to do after I get off work, than I'll come home and rest for a little before we go to do our hospital shift. Everyone have a great day.

Welcome back Judy and Jenn, we missed you guys. I'm home from work, not really busy tonight but I got a lot of cleaning done. Nothing to eat till after I give blood tomorrow morning. I'm supposed to go every 3 months but i forgot to go last month. Oh well. Good news is Hubby won't have surgery. The Doc said he would rather try PT on him first. So that was good news. Now 4 weeks 3 times a week he has to go to the Therapist. Watching my favorite show right now. "Unwrapped".

I'm looking forward to the new year at school and all the stories of Pammie's little ones. I miss Manuel. (was that his name?)

So quiet around here again today. I hope all is well with everyone.

I decided I couldn't stand it any longer and I went in a stripped the bed in my nephews room. He's getting clean sheets no matter what. Ughhhh.

Wow, I actually slept in till 7am. That felt nice. Today hubby has an appointment with the Orthopeadic Doc. We are hoping that he doesn't need to have surgery. Keep your fingers crossed. Pam, glad to have you back and sorry there was so much drama. Everyone have a great day.

Yup, the last place I looked was exactly where I found it. I had to move things out of my spare room for the nephew and I actually ended up putting the bible at the foot of my bed on my hope chest. So tonight I started the series on "Esther". I think I'm going to like it.

I searched again for it. Hmmm. Well, I have a back-up, but it's big. I'll find it soon.

Home from work and am eating a salad. I have to be back at work at 3pm to open. I only have to wrok for about an hour till Joyce comes in. When my nephew moved in I had to move some stuff out of the spare room and one of those things is my bible study bible. Tonight I start my new class and I need it. Just can't remember where I moved it to. So I need to go look for it. Where is everybody???

Starting another week. Hope it's a good one for everybody. I'm super busy today, so I'll check in when I can.

Jane, That's fine with me, we still need to hear from Tracy. I hope her and Robbie can meet up with us. P.S. the 19th. is hubby's B-day. And who wouldn't drive 100 miles to meet up with a sweet friend and do Christmas shopping, duh. Can't wait to see you.

Morning. It's raining here and it looks like it will be this way most of the day. No pool time. That's ok. We were in it for several hours yesterday and had a good time. Jenn.
