Left mo @ the vet for xrays... he didn't seem to concerned about his throat, but hr found a lump in his abdomen that he thinks might b cancer! M gettting my hair done as I type... Bbl.

M @ the vet... of course now he's acting fine... just like my kids when they were little... as soon as i'd make the app't, suddenly they'd feel better... ugh.

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. Or maybe this is just not my year. I was really hoping that w/April came a new start. Ack! Mo. Stupid, stupid cat! He's an indoor cat, who likes to try and sneak outside, mostly in the Spring & Fall. Well, now that he's feeling so spry, he tries all the time, and has gotten out a few times. Usually he just goes out the garage door and then walks around to the front, then sits on the porch by the front door waiting for us to see him through the sidelights and then let him in -- so adventurous, right? So last night when the boys got home from soccer, Mo got out, unbeknownst to anyone. Around 10pm when dh was going up to bed (he's riding in a 100-mile bike ride today, ugh!) he spies Mo outside, let's him in, checks him to make sure he doesn't have any ticks or bites or anything, he's fine. A few minutes later we hear this Gosh Awful SCREECH! It's like a really high-pitched kack (for lack of a better word). We fly into the kitchen to find Mo trying and trying to dislodge *some*thing from his throat... he's licking his lips, coughing, sneezing, and then making that sound. Even dd woke up & came down as she was scared by the sound. (DS sleeps like a rock.) He can breathe, and is walking around, isn't meow-ing, so I don't think he's in pain... just something is stuck in his throat -- the *other* end of the end I spent all my $ on this winter! So I stayed up with him 'til 1am... I was trying to think of what I could give him that might lube it up... I did butter & his medicine... didn't work. I tried massaging his throat/belly (I was thinking "kitty heimlich"). So finally we ended up curling up on the couch and he fell asleep. That's when I went up to bed, thinking all was well. Until 5am this morning when that screech pierces the silence of the house again! ARGH! So I leap out of bed & come downstairs, and he's still trying to get rid of whatever it is. Sooooo... guess who's going to the vet first thing this morning & guess who doesn't have time or money to deal with this... Mo, & me, in that order. Oh yeah -- good morning, Vi's!

Good Thurs Morn, Vi's~~ Starting an extra-busy run of days today... so many spring activities w/the kids! DS has 4 soccer games tonight - Sun! + concerts, etc... whew! Can't wait 'til June & days of hanging out @ the pool! Will check in when I can! xo

I see you on here, SuzyT... how're things going? ((Laura)) How agonizing... you bring back some vivid mommy memories & feelings with your descriptions. It does get better.... eventually... promise! But those baby days sure can be gutwrenching!

This is me to a T, Judy. Sigh. I'm hoping that my two upcoming short-term goals (WDW in 8 days, followed by the wedding just 11 days after I get back from WDW) will keep me honest & on track. So far, so good! Sorry to read that, Laura.

Chugging right along here today... just made a skinny cinnamon dolce latte in my PS S'bux mug! Ah... happy memories while I work...

Good Thurs morn, Vi's... Was Glee great or what?! Regular day on tap today... & that's all I can think of to say, so I'll go & come back when I think of something! :smile:

Whew! Whirlwind shopping trip w/dd... somehow managed to drop $100 (& saved $90) in under an hour! What a fashion plate! Tried on capris for WDW next weekend (9 days!!!)... rut roh! May have to buy a pair or two in a bigger size... waaaah! But talk about motivation! I was down 2lbs today... for a 2010 total of -12... I'm TRYING! The next time I want to stick something in my piehole, I'll think about those pants!!! Going to get settled in for Glee -- it's Madonna night!

Oooh, he's just a bit too late... Guess we know where Pam will be! :ohmy: I am just worried about having my DANCIN' SHOES ready... We'll have those bad boys kicked off by then! Bob'd better not step on my pedi'd toes! Went to the bank and then made myself stop @ the park & take a walk... lovely Spring day... I'm sure it was good for me, whether I wanted it to be or not! While ds is @ soccer practice tonight, dd & I are going to the mall... all of a sudden she has no clothes -- nothing fits! Argh, growth spurts!

If I log in, then it re-activates my account & page & I don't want to do that. & yes, I know that then I could simply de-activate it when I'm done, but then I'm on & off & on & off and they're sending me e-mails and... grrrrr! Stupid FaceCrack!

It's adorable! It looks *just* like Larry the Cucumber! Great job! Carson will love it! Can't wait to see his "cake face" pics!! Remember how Mo the cat used to be all stopped up and slow and sluggish and sleepy all the time? Well, now that he's more "regular", shall we say, and has lost some weight, he's the complete opposite! He's perky and playful and adventurous... which is great, except when he's gallomphing around the house and knocking over the bathroom trashcan and basically sounding like a herd of elephants @ 6:30am on a Sunday -- which is why I am up typing at this early hour on the only day of the week that I can sleep in (which, mind you, means just 7:30 or on a really lazy day 8, lol!). Crazy cat! Today is State Cup Soccer game #2... it's an all-day thing, as it is so far away... still in Md., just about as far away as it could be! We'll leave @ 12:30, game is @ 3, be home by 6:30-7ish. That's my day today! Everyone make it a good day, whatever you're doing!
